My new lil friend! I think he is a Urbinia Purpusii…what should I name him!!?
Sunnin' 🌵
Hi. Can I plant these in the same pot?
HELP! NEW CACTUS SEEDS! So I got some barrel cactus seeds (exact type listed below) and planted them and some sources say to cover with plastic wrap and a ziploc bag while plants says to make sure there is plenty of airflow? I get the humidity dome thing but I’m also worried there isn’t enough air and it could mold? Anyone have any tips on a happy-medium or is it okay just covered with the plastic and bag?
I hate myself when I make rash purchases. ———————— Let’s say I bought this in November/December 2025. I couldn’t resist the singing of the 50% Off Sale Sirens as I walked around the store getting what I needed. The container of succulentS had been fine for the first two months. Then one day I noticed the pencil cactus had begun to die. And within 5 days it began to cascade die. I removed any other succulents from the pot that were there. Most of them, too small to also recover, eventually died. I already know water was the culprit. That I had watered the damn thing and that’s what caused it. It has not been watered for over eight weeks now. Not watering it has slowed any more death happening to the pencil cactus. I don’t want to say it stopped, but it has slow dramatically. The other plant that’s in the pot also seems fine. It is a Sansevieria Jade I believe. ———————— I love pencil cactuses when they’re small. 😎 I hate pencil cactuses when they’re growing wildly.😡 Both plants in the image are in the original plastic pot, & original soil too, which is kind of barky on top but no idea under that. ———————— Pretend time… Hello. I’m John Quinones from ABC. After reading all of this, and seeing the outcome of his foolish decisions, no offense guy (Plant purchaser: None taken.), I ask you… What would you do? What would you do with these two plants in the large bucket? (Production Team! Edit out the plant on the window sill that photo bombed us before we upload the image. Tell Security the plant may be roaming the house. Dang it! Never mind on the edits. It’s already uploaded.)
I think my plant is done flowering.
Photoshoot and edit with the Pachypodium Densiflorum.. It’s been waking from it’s slumber
Domino cactus bloomed last night 🤩🤍
Any advice on repotting my jade? I don’t know if he’s ready for a new pot or if I should keep him in this one. He’s growing super fast and seems happy. He’s also a little droopy in some spots - is that from over watering or under watering? Thanks!
Any care tips????
I’ve been incredibly busy and haven’t been able to feed this guy for the past couple of months and I am looking for a new pot, but I am wondering besides the new pot what else I can do
Hey everyone. How tall will my Climbing Aloe grow? What is your tallest plant? This one is about 1m.

Worried about my cactus leaning. He’s become very top heavy, and the thin etiolated section is struggling. Should I get some supports or will he straighten up on his own?
Hi everyone! I really want to be able to care for succulents, but every time I get one, it withers and dies. This sweet little golden sedum had so many leaves a few weeks ago, and they keep turning brown and translucent and falling off. Am I wrong to put them in terra cotta pots with succulent - specific potting medium? How do I know when to water? I will not be defeated by succulents 😅
Practically the same plant has two different light requirements. Jade Necklace and Baby Necklace. Why?
Where should I prune my Kalanchoe to encourage more growth? I have this Kalanchoe cutting that I took recently, which started blooming pretty much immediately after. I have since removed the flowers to press after taking this photo because they were starting to wilt, but I think I should also be pruning it to get rid of the etoliation and hopefully encourage more outward growth. Is the place with the red line a good place to cut or should I be doing something else? Any advice would be super helpful!
