I have been wanting a donkey tail for the longest & I just happened to stop by Lowe’s on my way to the grocery store to find the perfect one! I’m beyond happy 🌱
My girl Jade moved into her new larger pot with fresh, rich soil today! Here’s a few photos of her growth journey in the past 3 years! I’m so happy for her 💚
I have my Aeonium that has grown in a bigger cluster then I tough it would! Can I prune some heads too give space to the rest of the plants or should I wait for fall and there growth season?
Wow! What a diff 6 months makes!! So very proud of my lil gherkins 💖
I had read you could propagate leaves on soil and they’ll grow roots to form a new plant. I put some fallen leaves on the soil of my jade plant to grow, but it doesn’t seem to be working. I know jade is a type of succulent so not to water too much, but do the leaves need frequent misting/watering to propagate and grow roots? Should I grow them separately?
What would you say are the key ingredients to a good succulent soil? I’m on a pretty tight budget and I’m honestly considering buying a high quality, premixed soil because getting all these components in the long run will cost me more. So, I’m not sure what to do!
Should I repot this little guy? It’s looking like a tight squeeze but I love the fox pot, any advice?
Got this plant from someone whose neighbor gave it to them and they just laid it on the ground outside. It’s humid here and I was worried about it. I know the pot it’s in now isn’t big enough, got a new one that I’m going to transfer it to. Any advice to help support it?
Hey there! I’m new here and fairly new to plants (started around a year ago) these are some of my babies that I’ve gathered recently and can’t wait to watch grow and thrive.
I believe my new conophytum pageae are starting to go dormant and sheath for the summer, anyone have experience with these plants and can tell me for sure that’s what’s happening? The first picture is how they look now, the second picture is what they looked like when I got them in the mail on the 30th of last month.
New to the group and just getting into succulents and cacti – here’s my newly growing collection!
does anyone know what is wrong with this plant and how i can fix it?
Hi all! First time here! Sharing some of my succulent bebes. I have some inside my Leopard Gecko terrarium. She tramples over anything delicate so I only have a few hardy plants in there. My Jade is approximately 12yrs old and the golden sedum about 7. 😀
Per the garden guy at Home Depot, “Some people have been waiting since March for these plants.” There were at least seven “I haven’t seen this, I need it” choices, but I walked out with this one. It’s quite magical, and I almost got into an argument when someone else tried to claim it.
Absolutely thrilled with my Zig Zag plant! The branch with the leaves is entirely new - it grew over the last month or so. Definitely the rarest and most unique plant I own! I love its strange, bony look.
Babies! About an inch tall including the tiny pot.
$10 at a garage sale! I love it!
I just wanted to share my newest addition 😍 I’m definitely in my succulent era 😌
My two new succulents I rescued today🥺 I almost positive the one on the right is a jade plant but I’m unsure if I’m correct with my assumption that the one of the left is a Crassula “Garnet Lotus”? My plant identification app suggests it’s a “propeller plant” but it looks more like a garnet lotus? Any advice welcome:)
