Why does my Thanksgiving cactus always bloom in June and not in the winter?
Next one on the list, repot or no? And what's your go-to soil mix?
Question for the experts: I’m a fairly new plant momma and the first plant I got was this Jade plant. I didn’t know what it was then. Well fast forward, this plant is what inspired me to get more because it’s grown so well. Now I realize I dropped the ball on pruning it and need to do something. The internet says not to prune more than 20-30% at a time. What would this group do? If you would only snip a few branches here and there, how long would you wait before snipping? Thanks for you help!
Need help with identifying this plant. Flower was around 2 cm in diameter.
What do u guys think about me keeping this cactus from my front yard :) anytips lol and look the the lil new growth on the top
my cacti and succulents have been growing so fast this spring. These pics are from (US) Mother’s day vs today. i have been doing research on my pickle plants (Kleinia stapeliiformis and Delosperma echinatum) and want to know what you guys would do (if anything) in my situation. My only thing is that I don’t want the Kleina to grow curved, I want it to stay straight. So should I cut it?
Hello I’m wondering if anyone uses any type of pest control that doesn’t damage their plants or have used the arber plant food from the app? Just everything I look up is telling me it’s damaged plants and I have at least 2 rare plants I don’t want damaged at all and would be so heartbroken. Any advice would be SO Appreciated! Thank you! Also just a photo because I’m proud of how far they’ve come!
Is it time to repot this guy (2” pot) and if so, do remove the pup or is it too small?
Do I repot to a slightly bigger one?
I bought 2 aloe vera plants approximately 3 weeks ago re-potted them and left them alone aside from watering here and there. One of them I noticed wasn’t growing as much and seemed a little lopsided just checked today. It has root rot 🥺 but I’m wondering would I be able to grow another aloe vera plant from this. I forgot the term new to plants lol
Can you help me identify this succulent?
Hello everyone! I received these in a mystery box today and I’m not sure what they are. Can you help me identify any of these?
Hi everyone! So I forgot I had this plant, I haven’t watered it in about 8 months :( but I took it down to water it today and noticed it sprouted a fuzzy thing! I have no clue what’s going on, so please let me know if you do!
Hi y’all, I’m wanting to get more cacti/succulents and wanted to know what y’all recommended for beginners! As well as potting mixes. Thanks bunches!
Hi! I need help with my zebra plant! Its outer leaves are starting to turn brown. It does share a pot with another zebra plant. Any idea what could be causing this?
Oh my! I just got these African Milk Trees from 831Succulents on Etsy and I couldn’t be happier. They’re so healthy and beautiful and much bigger than I expected. The one with the Buddha is Count Sapula and the one with the little chiminea is Spike Leanore. Hope they like it here. 😊
Now the root came off. What do I do now? Is it dead?
Omg!😱 Look what just happened! It was still closed this morning! I changed his name from Spider to Mr. Xin, since it’s a chin cactus. I had no idea this would happen when I got him. The petals are actually translucent. What an exciting day!
can anyone help identify this echeveria? app scanner says it’s black prince but it looks different than the listed photos. instead of being fully purple tinted with thick leaves, this one is dark green with purple around the edges. never had one of these so idk if this is how the baby plant is supposed to look
Can these live in stone and no soil? I have 3 more in another pot with soil that are fine. This one was in there but its bottom layer turned to mush and it fell over so I repotted it alone in river stones. It has a nice root system attached. Do you think it will live? Should I rwpot the others with no soil?
