Hi! My dragon fruit is really on its own journey and I can’t figure out how to help him :( His trunk won’t grow but he LOVES his lil crazy arms… Should I just let him do his thing, prune him, unstake him, propagate him??? Any ideas would be great.
So, thinking if I want to prune anything from Ember…any suggestions? I’d also like tips on getting back the blooms she once had!

Recent repot, very thirsty
The variegated side of my cactus (Gymnocalycium friedrechii variegata) is growing more than the non variegated side? I’ve been noticing it for a couple of years, but it had a growth spurt this summer and is a lot more noticeable. Everything I’ve read says that the opposite of this should happen (green bits should grow more, since the variegated side isn’t actually photosynthesising). He’s very healthy, full sun, and I always rotate my cacti 90 degrees every day, so it’s not a light inequality thing. Anyone got an explanation? Or is my guy just a little funky 😂.

Thinking into Nova’s future…how can I promote her trunk to grow thicker to support more new growth up top? She’s my first successful Jade cutting from my Moms 50+ year old plant! She’s been transplanted into this pot for nearly 4 months now. I love the new little branch she developed since!

Hi there! My poor balloon cactus was overwatered. The pruny part feels squishier than the rest of the plant, but not mushy at all. There are no dark rot areas. Is it too late to save my guy? Any suggestions? 🥺

So, I have no idea how to care for this guy. I just follow the app. But today i noticed the stalk becoming more bark like and the very top has changed. The top has the most little spikes i have noticed and they seen to be angled inward. I am crazy to think this could flower? Or is it dying 🤦🏻♀️ I have the most to learn w cacti. 🌵
I was given this guy, a mitre aloe and a cobweb leek all in the same pot. This week, I noticed that the aloe was growing through one of the leaves on the Mexican rose. Because of that, *everyone* got sent to separate rooms --erm, pots-- but this guy still looks distinctly unhappy. Dr Plant diagnosed a fungal infection, so I applied some neem oil. (His new pot and soil are also more draining than what he was given to me in.) His injured leaf looks like it's healing. Anything else I should do for him in the meantime?

Half of my cacti collection but I do love lining them up and feeding and checking on their status to see how much they have changed 😍
