Hello! New here! Also very very new to plants. Got this one the other day. How often would you guys recommend watering this?
How should I repot this? A well meaning friend got me this gift, but there’s no drainage hole and I’m sure they all have different light/water requirements so I’d like to get them into a better pot and/or separate as necessary. Help! Thank you!
Been working on developing this succulent tower for about a year now. The tower is an old display from a store I got on marketplace. I am working now on making a rainbow mosaic on the outside so I can’t see the dirt all the time. Long project but I think it’s coming along well. I planted a bunch of different Stapelia and Huernia that will eventually trail down the sides. Once spring starts here the sun will be very welcome on the far side of the planter again. It’s been a pretty cloudy winter this year.
hey guys! i’m in need some advice. this is my boy curtis :D (the smiley is part of his name, legally). ever since he got over 4 or 5 inches he’s had a little bit of a curve. i try to rotate his pot every once in a while to keep him decently even. maybe i’ve been slacking on the rotation lately, and but i’ve never seen him curve this much. i’m not ashamed of his phallicness, he just has a bit of weight to him now so i’m a bit worried about him toppling over. besides turning him around to curve the other way now, is there anything i can do to help encourage him to straighten out? thank you in advance for any tips!
Hi, this cactus was the bottom portion of a grafted plant. I chopped off the top portion (I know what it is), but not sure what this is. Plant ID apps aren’t helping probably because it doesn’t look right since it was chopped. And yes, that is part of the stick that held them together that is poking out of the top 😬 TIA
Hey there, anyone know how to propagate a Thimble Mamillaria? I’d appreciate any advice:)
Hey there, can anyone help me identify this plant? It was a gift and I believe, from what little info I have found, its a Turtle Vine (Callisia Repens). Can anyone confirm? Much appreciated.
Hey everyone! My jade plant has a little guy growing in this spot where a leaf sort of separated from the stem. Can I remove it? Is it best to leave it there?
Made a little cactus pot today. Love getting cactus and succulents in the mail.
My Huernia thuretii finally bloomed! 😀
This succulent reminds me of a beast with a zillion teeth.
Hi all! I got this today as it was on sale and needs a bit of TLC! Can anyone tell me what this is? Am I right in thinking it’s some sort of variegated snake plant? Thank you 🙏🏼
I’m not sure if it’s dead or dormant 🤔
Does anyone know what is happening to this guy? He does not look very good. Also what is that white stuff between it?🥴
My first ever cactus 🌵 party bowl! So thrilled about these cuties! I’ve never been into succulents before but that may be changing. 🥰♥️🌵
He’s a king! My friend got this guy for me for Christmas. And he is so pretty in morning light, so photogenic! Anyone else got a baby Polaskia chichipe?
Hey, I'm wondering if my cactus is ok, there's this weird white spot on its cut. It had rot and I removed it and sprayed fungicide and let it callous over and it was doing very well and it even started flowering but now I noticed there was this white thing. The flower it had has also began to wilt, but I just assumed that was because it went it's course because I know some cacti flowers only last a few days/weeks, is that right?
Hello everyone! I was hoping someone could help me identify these. I know the one in the back is bunny ears cactus, but the other 3 I’m having a hard time identifying. I know they need some TLC trust me, and they’ll be getting it! Just trying to learn more about them so I know how to care for them and get them back to being healthy and growing!
A few days after someone surrendered this Christmas Cactus to me! I moved it into a pot with drainage and some dryer soil since it was very very overwatered!! (The one with the colourful background is the before, and the white background is currently) Any advice?? I’m new to these plants
Hello! I have had these baby toes for about 5 months now, and I’ve had to repot them twice because of soil and potting issues. The soil currently is well draining and even has rocks at the bottom. I may have over fertilized them but this plant has been difficult to deal with. Is there any hope? Is there anything I should do about this plant?
