Hi! My friend was given this as a clipping a while back but has no idea what it is. I’ve tried scanning it in the app and doing reverse image searches but nothing that’s come up is looking similar. Can anyone help a non-plant person out? Thanks!!

Hey! I need to re-pot my dragon fruit, what kind of soil should I buy from the store? Anything else I should know before re-potting it?

Hey! I recently bought this Aloe and this specific leaf was somewhat bent when I got it, but I left the house to go on a date, and when I came back I found that a family member accidentally snapped the front of it. The back is still intact (as seen in the photo), but i’m not sure what to do with it. I added this bit with toilet paper to temporarily hold it together until I have more feedback. Should i remove it? Should I keep it? How should I care for it? Thanks!

How do succulents like to live? Such as water, light, soil types? any i formation please let me know! I am new at plants, thank you so much:)!

What’s your go-to succulent/chunky soil mix?? Do you doctor up a bag of something or go totally from scratch? I’ve heard some succulents can stick with completely inorganic material?

Started a lot of these a couple years ago from propagating, most of the direct sunlight in my windows is blocked out by trees so they’ve had to stay grow under lights most of the time. My favorite part of the house to be in 😊

And one more of my Copper Spoons. They are grown in a west facing window in my basement. Lighting is everything for successful succulent growth.

Watering day. This is my donkey tail. Which is in desperate need of a repot but I can’t bring myself to do it. They can be fragile and temperamental. I grow it inside year round in an east facing window.

This is my firecracker plant that I repotted yesterday after my dogs knocked over and broke the planter it was in. One reason I love this firecracker plant is it has been so easy to grow, if it stretches out I just behead it and stick it back in the soil. That’s what I did with it yesterday. It’s about 10 years old.

So my sister left on her mission leaving me to care for her plants, but I have no clue what they are. I know that they are cacti but no idea what kind😅.

Current project. This is my grandmas and she actually managed to under water it. I wish I’d taken a before pic from about a month ago when almost all of them were weird and wrinkly/ droopy/ squishy. I gave it a good watering and in about a week most of them looked pretty good! Now I’m going to cut and reroot some of these and get it looking all full again. I left some stems because I think they might sprout new growth? Wish me luck 😅🙏🌵❤️

cross posted in problems- hiya, i have a succulent garden with a few varieties in one pot. i’m worried there might be a rot issue but i’m unsure. If i have to i can remove and separate the plants permanently but i enjoy how they look all together. I’ve attached pictures of the main issue plant as well as the pot as a whole for context. I’m so scared of losing the whole thing. i’m trying to propagate some bear paws out of here but we’ll see plants in pot- panda plant, bear paw, elephant bush var, elephant bush non var, california sunset, ripple jade and one mystery one i can’t place the name of

Hello all! I’m a newer plant mama, but i’ve had succulents/cacti for a while now, like maybe over a year, and they looked like they haven’t grown at all. is that normal? they are still tiny They are all healthy and recently repotted and fertilized. thanks in advance!

Seeing some ‘spots’/scarring on the tops of most of her leaves - new since buying from the nursery. Also seeing a pink tip developing on one of the leaves I suspect is sun burn from being in the windowsill.

So I have a Christmas Aloe and people say that when they mature they get spikey and if you touch it you get stung…. Is this true?

Steph

I need help! My plant is getting sicker and sicker and I don’t know how to fix it. I have a Christmas a echeveria succulent and Dr. Planta isn’t helping very much and I don’t know what to do. It had yellow leaves so I put it outside slowly getting it used to the sun. Then it started turning brown! 😢 I then put it back in the shade but it didn’t help. So finally I placed it in my room w a grow lamp. I am lost and not sure what to do.

I was just gifted two massive Jade plants from my job! They were going to be thrown out, and I was offered to take them home instead. I’ve always dreamed of getting my own giant Jade plant! I plan on eventually transporting them into brand new terracotta pots instead of their plastic ones. The first Jade is doing quite well, however I cannot say the same for the second one. The second one is looking a little faded & withered, and one trunk looks like it’s on its way out. I’ve never cared for giant Jades like these, if anyone could give some tips, that would be greatly appreciated!
