So my Ghost cactus has still been growing but it has this rot in the middle should I be worried?

Anyone have any tips on how to help this little aloe get healthy again? The red and brown used to be much worse, but it's still not green and growing like I think it should be. It's planted indoors with plant lights, in succulent soil. I've tried moving it to brighter light (I think that made it worse), modulating the watering schedule, and adding some plant fertilizer about once every 45 days.

I know cactus and succulent need very little watering but I moved my cacti to a less sheltered area last few month and they get a lot of rain (rainy season in south Florida) - so far they seem fine. Do you think it’s fine bc there are drainage holes and the sun dries it between afternoon showers? I also have agave and aloe and euphorbia you can’t see in picture

I have been trying to care for a rat tail cactus for several years now. It’s like having a cat. I love it and it despises my very existence. This morning I see the fruits of my love showing up as large portions of rot setting in, again. I’ve chopped off the good parts to restart the plant, again. But honestly I am kinda over it. The only reason I’m holding onto it now is it was a present from my hugsband (we have fun). If it doesn’t survive this time, I think we’ll try our luck with kids. Seriously though, does anyone have advice? I would like to make this work.

My Moon Cactus got crown rot 😢 I had to throw it out. Just so you know crown rot is basically when black spots show on your plants. It can spread to other plants through air, roots touching other roots, and if you or something else touch another plant.

Hi everyone! I’m fairly new to gardening. I have a couple succulents and cactuses and I’m looking to repot. Some are starting to have roots growing from the bottom and some don’t have enough space. I also want them all together for easier watering and moving around. It won’t let me attach all the pictures but here’s some. I have soil, fertilizer, root booster, and pea pebbles. Any recommendation before I repot them ? I also posted a picture of where I plan on repotting them. The wood planter has a decent separation for drainage and that’s why I put the pebbles.

Rescue update! Took this guy from my mom’s house two and a half weeks ago. Leggy stem, dying leaves, no roots. Now cleaned up, in a pot that fits, and new roots are growing! I kill so many plants, it’s nice to save one for once!

Because no one - including me - can get enough of Lithops after learning that something like this exists in the world… Various sizes. The tiny ones are kind of a side note in this adventure - they were tossed in as a bonus in a seed pack. My Lithops advice to me a year ago would be look at photos of crusty but healthy Lithops in living in the wild. Keep that image in your head as your plant morphs into something not exactly what myriad advice suggests ha. Let’s see if I get blooms in a few months.

Hey all! I have an odd question… long story short, I live in a tiny house so deciding where to put plants is difficult. So far I’ve been hanging most of my plants in macrame hangers on pullies to pull down closer to windows. Anyway, my question is since it’s a small space with many windows, is it a big deal if full sun plants aren’t in a south or southwest (I have southwest) windows? So far my plants seem to be doing ok, but wasn’t sure about their long term health if I put them in a north or east facing window.

Is orchid bark safe for succulent soil? What is the best type of succulent soil/what to put in it? Trying to perfect my skills! -thanks ♥️ LearningPlantMom

Long story short, this poor baby is at my mom’s house and needs rescuing! Does anyone know what this cactus is and how to bring it from the brink?! Also, yes, my left thumb is basically a toe. Lol the right one looks normal 🤷‍♀️😆
