plant mom fail here,
I won this plant at a bridal shower and just assumed it was fake. sheâs been living in the back of my car for about three weeks. If you look on the left side you can see where I tested to see if it was real⊠which in fact, she is. I feel so bad for messing with all the farina đ

So my hubby just brought me a succulent garden from Loweâs for a large shallow pot I am putting in a flower bed in the front yard. Problem is I donât know the first thing about succulents as the only one I have dealt with is an aloe plant a friend gave me. Other than the snake plant I have do idea what any of them are. When I used the plant identifier it just gives me âstonecrop variousâ even when I give a closeup of a single plant. So I come to you all brilliant green thumbs for help in identifying them. Iâm posting a photo of the whole pot and individual closeups to help with identification.
I will transplant them this weekend so any suggestions or guidance on care will be greatly appreciated!

Hi all,
I was gifted the succulent in the left and just bought the succulent on the right. I canât seem to find an accurate identification for either plant. Does anyone happen to know what kind of succulents these are?

Hello! Hope yall & your plants are well! Im writing because I love my string of pearls. Itâs my current favorite plant. However, I find myself feeling like Iâm failing at keeping it alive. Iâve had it for 3 ish months, and it came much fuller and happier. Iâve lost 7-8 strings so far, and donât want to lose anymore.
Are there any tips yall have for me to keep it alive and growing? I feel under educated.
Currently I have it living in a north west facing window in my bathroom. I water it when dry, about every 12-18 days. I just fertilized with 11-10-11 succulent & cactus plant food slow release.
Thank you! đ

What's going on here. I am so concerned about this sedeveria fanfare. I repotted it when I got it about a month ago in a small 3 inch cement pot. Thought it would give off extra moisture easily. The soil has been drying up pretty quickly, so I have been watering it once a week after checking with a moisture meter that the entire pot is dry. The plant started loosing leaves pretty consistently (I thought it was adjusting to the new environment, living indoors under a grow light), I thought it wasn't getting enough water to absorb hence it is using it's reserves in the leaves. But it continues to lose color and looks sad, droopy. I am worried the plant might be dying and I can't help it. Notice the darker photo is from a month ago.

September 2022 I received 4 Purple Prickly Pads from Arizona that I had purchased through Etsy.
By the Spring of 2023 I had accidentally drowned 2 of the 4 pads.
By Fall of 2023 2 new pads had formed on top of the pads I did not kill.
Now mid Summer 2024 and I have 8 Purple Prickly Pads. 2 turned into 4. 4 turned into 8.

I bought this plant today and was needing some help with ID. My research is showing a lot of similar looking cacti. My current guess is a White Barrel Cactus or a Mother of Hundreds

I just love these guys. Mammillaria Magnifica. I keep moving everyone else around in this blazing sun trying to protect them and then when I look at these guys, I just leave them be. Theyâre getting more sun than anyone else and doing great it seems.

Hi! My Blue Myrtle is worrying me. Watering about every 6 days and itâs dry when I do. Under a shade cloth in this Arizona sun so it shouldnât be getting burned by that. Itâs close to the wall, but not as close as it looks, maybe 10â. The dark at the top has worsened over the last week or so. A little on the right side as well. Any ideas please? I hope you donât say itâs the heat from the wall. Iâm really worried about that. I may be able to bring it out another 6â.

How long does it take for a string of pearls to grow roots in water? Mine rotted on part of the string, so I cut the healthy part off, and put it in water because so many people said they had success growing roots in water for this particular plant. Itâs been in water for over a week now, maybe two. Iâm not quite sure. Any other tips are appreciated too! đđȘŽ

I just got this echeveria about a few days ago and it was doing great until I put it in sun and it doesnât seem to be doing so good. I gave it some water and repotted it. Should I give it more water? Dampen the soil?

Anyone know what kind of cactus this is? I have a feeling this pot is way too small so I put it in a larger pot (I donât have a picture of it in its new pot yet) I was curious if it does need more room since it looks like smaller cacti are coming off it. Will this cactus grow taller? Iâve had it for a year I think

My echeveria dickâs pink is growing UP instead of OUT and looking really bare. I know growing upward can be a sign of too little sunlight but when I put her in a more sunny spot I feel like her leaves start to get burnt/sun damage. Any suggestions? I feel like I suck at caring for echeverias & idk what it is đ

Can anyone please tell me whatâs going on with my zebra plant? The planta experts are telling me to check the roots but Iâm not sure it being root bound would cause this? I have another larger one and the same spot and itâs doing just fine. Any suggestions welcome. Thank you!

Could anyone confirm whatâs going on here?
These are 2 of my propagations, the one on the left has very clear roots coming through, but the one on the right has what looks like one red root? Why is it red? Is it even a root? It wasnât there a week agođ€Ł
