Hello everyone, I’m fairly new to the world of succulents and, up until now, I haven’t gravitated toward them as much as other houseplants. However, I’d like to expand my collection and learn how to properly care for a few succulent varieties. I often find myself admiring them at local plant nurseries, but I’ve never been quite sure which ones are best for a beginner. For those with experience growing succulents, what species would you recommend as a good starting point? Any advice on care, common mistakes to avoid, or beginner friendly varieties would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

My snake plant is shooting up white leaves that have the coolest spots that reminds me of snake scales I started with a couple clippings from my one with yellow edges and I knew they would grow without the yellow on them but to see these white leaves it’s kind of exciting 😊

Hi guys n gals, has anyone used zeolite in their potting medium and have you noticed any improvement’s from using it? I have some powdered zeolite but I’m not sure how much to use when adding to the mix for best results and is it worth mixing in with my liquid fertiliser routine?

hello! i bought a yellow dragon fruit cactus cutting from FB marketplace in May, and she's growing really good. i just noticed a few of these small, pinkish spiny growths on some stems. i was wondering if these were the beginning of flower buds or new stem growth?

Ember, my Kalanchoe, was full of flowers and grew stalks and leaves after. I sent her thru a bit of a drought..unintentionally, and she lost quite a few young leaves! Any suggestions? Prop the tallest stem? What do ya think?

Hi guys n gals. Planta saying Texas Nipple, but I’m not so sure. Here it is next to what I thought was a TN or a Thimble cactus which has taller base, not built like a beach ball or barrel. I also thought the thimble has white/cream flowers and TN red is that correct? Any ideas please? Thank you.
