This one, Opuntia Rufida, is supposedly easy, but I decimated - and gave up on - several when I was starting. I struggled so hard trying to figure out why it was always wrinkled. Big Wig is the last try on that species, and that outdoor pic is from 2023. Note also the ladybugs having a meal - they groomed the heck out of it last week.

First photo is 3 weeks ago when I potted them together, second is today. Happy cacti! I didn’t realize how fast that top section had grown!
My silver torch cactus is beginning to look a bit wobbly and I’m not sure if I should re pot it (considering even a smaller pot) so it has more stability. Does this pot width / height look correct for a plant this size? Also, it’s starting to grow skinnier on top so I’ve been considering an indoor grow light, any thoughts?
I'm not sure what she is, but she's flowering and I dont know what to do. She's one of the big succulents. Hand for size. Will she die now?
Found where I buy my food. Copiapoa species to match the other one I found two years ago. FB forums said it could be Copiapoa mollicula, but who knows. The more I learn, the more I confuse myself. Edit after doing some searches: Copiapoa Montana or Grandiflora. So niche.
Love my Snake and Zebra Haworthia Succulents!!!
Help!! New aloe mom here!! My aloe is drooping and turning brown and I don’t know what is wrong. I don’t want to overwater it, but every time I give it water it the leaves look more plump so I’m torn. I don’t know if I sunburned it, overwatering, or under watering it? Need some advice :)
Update on my cactus! So, I repotted her, and she’s looking way healthier but the fuzzy little thing it grew fell off on its own. It seems to be growing a new one though! The little fuzzy white dots seem to sprout these tails? I have no idea what’s going on, should I plant the fuzzy guy?? Someone help. I bought this cactus from a Home Depot on a whim like 2 years ago, I was not prepared for the drama and fuzz balls.

I got a kit to start. I planted as instructed. I still have seeds left. Most of what i planted isnt taking yet. Should i change soil with my other seeds and try again?
I’ve had my Paddle Plant (Kalanchoe luciae) since last summer! 🙌🏼 She made it through the winter like a champ, and now she’s back outside for round two - bigger, bolder, and with babies growing beside her! 🥹🌿🥰
I guess this Peruvianus is happy in Dallas!
give me all your tips and tricks for your aloe vera plants! I live in washington state and she’s in a south facing window right now because we recently moved and don’t have any east or west windows :( thank you!
Could anyone ID this, or should I take this post to the ID group? I thought that a succulent group would be more knowledgeable than a generalized ID group. Found on HD floor. I’ll just post the whole pot-any ID’s welcomed. The one right below the one I asked about I have as Kleinia fulgens ‘Coral Senecio’ and the one to the left of the ‘Coral Senecio’ that is kind of big, I have as Pachyphytum hookeri🤷♀️🤷♀️🤷♀️🤷♀️
A rare beauty when my lace aloe flowers 🥹😍This was about a year ago, she’s much taller now.

You guys, I’ve had this plant for YEARS and for the life of me cannot figure out what kind of cactus this is. Its spines start at little leaves so I don’t think it’s a rat tail cactus or a peanut cactus, it looks to me like some kind of finger cactus, but how it grows doesn’t make sense. Would appreciate any ideas, it’s probably pretty etiolated, but nonetheless, help me lol. 😅
Just got these pretty little succulents! Please give me all the recommendations because I’ve killed other succulents in the past and have high hopes for these ones! Thank you!
