Does anyone know what kind of cactus this is? My app said it’s an Easter Lily cactus but I feel like it doesn’t look like that…

Question for anyone who has a thriving Burros Tail in 100+ weather.🤪 I live in North East Texas. I grew one fine last year until it got 100+. I got another one this year planning to keep it out of the intense heat. I thought that was its only issue but I’m beginning to think this is just one of those plants that need more care until they are bigger. I had it out in the spring but we get daily soaking rains thanks to lake effect. I brought it in my garage, repotted it, and placed it in front of a fan. Had it under a 5000K grow light, looked sad and stopped growing. So I put it in my kitchen under a 6500K grow light. It got sunburn. Ok, I moved it to my porch where it can get partial sun, but is shaded. Got knocked over, so I moved it to my front garden with morning sun and shade. Last week I saw it looking wilty and remembered it hates the heat. I quickly brought it in to my kitchen, watered it and moved it under the grow light. Then I remembered as I was falling asleep that it got sunburned there before, so I got up and moved it back in the garage under the 5000K light. It’s 90 in there so cooler than inside and there’s a fan in there, but it doesn’t really thrive there. It’s in a 2” pot, gets watered when the lower leaves feel less firm, and gets fertilized with a mild succulent fertilizer. I thought about putting it in my bathroom window with my variegated pothos, but I don’t know if that’s enough light.🤪 Most of my succulents are doing great but this one is giving me a run for my money.😄 What am I missing?😅🤪

Aloe leaves keep falling out. Not sure why but recently one leaf at a time will kind of just rot away at the base and then I can just pull it right out of the pot and it’s all black and rotten looking. You can see this one here is about to go and I just pulled one out today.

Gaston (my Gasteraloe) looks sick. He's in my kitchen receiving morning sun. I water him every two weeks. Repotted him 2 months ago, he outgrew the thepothecwasin. His leaves are wizzled looking. And he's the leaning tower, more and more every day. Not sure what to do to save him. I've had too many succulents join my plant graveyard. I'm trying not to add another. TIA.

It rained a few days ago & my cacti/succs do get wet since they are not covered by anything. It’s currently raining & according to the forecast more at the end of the week. They are all in a fast draining soil except for my pearls— I guess my question is should I bring them inside for the rainy days when it’s this many in a row??

Hey there! My jade plant was looking quite leggy and sad (leaning a lot to the right) so I got a sun lamp to improve his state. I know that jades get these lovely red edges when they’re happy and I’m seeing some show up in the top leaves, will the other leaves get this too or no? Are there any other things I should change? Thanks!

I bought a couple of new plants. This one is coming out of the dirt. Should I keep watering it normally or should I pack the dirt down? Also I have accidentally broken some of the leaves. Is it really hurting the plant? What should I do if I break another leaf?

I thrifted this awesome beat up old terracotta pot and drilled a hole in it. Gave it a new life and I love how it turned out! Best $2 of the month 🥰

This plant is unrecognizable after a severe bug issue made me chop it to the nubs. That rich red color? Well, I dunno when that will be back haha.

Echinocactus grusonii var. albispinus. I lost my mind when I saw this spectacular anomaly. I picked it up, stood away, went back, watched the Home Depot garden crew soak it, and then I went home. The following day, I did the same thing. This plant is too intimidating, but I’m happy to have seen it. Good luck, Silver Barrel. ps I’m attempting to sell some things, namely shirts with pics of cool plants I meet. Stay tuned for better designs 😀

I recently took a leaf off a couple of my succulents to propagate; I left them to callus for about 5 days and they looked healed over so I put them on top of some soil. Today they’re brown on the ends.. is this a complete failure or is there a way they’ll bounce back and grow?

My local Exotic plant store got 3 of these beautiful Grafted Euphorbia Lactea in yesterday and I was lucky enough to get the last one this morning! ☺️

New here, and new to keeping plants alive, lol… So I have 2 aloes, both were (are) in bad shape, one was abandoned at a house but I think is doing at least somewhat better… the other I got at a health store for free last week, it has quite a few dead leaves as I was told someone who has a farm of them just drops some off for ppl to take, so no telling how long it sat outside unattended/watered… and as of now I have yet to get it in the ground… My backyard faces exactly west and the sun travels across the south, I am in Florida… we don’t have gutters so rain runoff is my nemesis right now… I’m not sure where to put these guys… both are well over growing their pots, so I figured it would be easier to put them in the ground, our yard really has no place for this… sorry, I’m not being of much help but this is no where near something I’m used to tackling, just thought maybe anyone had some helpful tidbits… or not?? Lol… just hoping to find a location that they can be happy in… I can take pics if that helps The tagged plant is the big one from the health store, the other one is called an aloe arborescens to the best of my understanding

Does anyone know what each of these succulents are?
