Hey guys, looking for some advice on my Haworthia Succulent, noticed some browning and yellowing tips, I’m thinking too much direct sunlight but maybe not enough water? Any advice would be great thanks
As some of you know I pretty much only have succulents. I only have one cactus… my moon cactus. And I really want more cacti! What are your suggestions? But I have two cats both of them are very playful and love rubbing against things! Especially my plants…so I guess I would like less pointy cacti? 🌵🏜️🐈🐈⬛🪴
Is this a Panda Plant? Planta thinks so, but none of the photos I see resemble what I'm experiencing. It has small fuzzy leaves with brown tips as well as small tan/yellow flowers (in lower left corner, and it has developed a trailing habit.
The pot is a thrift find, and I ruined its future of Drinking Tiki with a couple Dremel holes. I chose a tall pot (filled about half-way with big rocks) because these have longer roots - or that’s what I read ha. I had another species in this Genus (pictured), and it did not go well. It started from a plant that got squished in an overturned shopping cart (full of plants, at Home Depot), and no amount of trimming helped. It ended up named Brown Death. No squishing this one, please.
Hi there I wanted to know if this elephant bush is healthy I’m not quite sure how to care for it. It’s dropping a lot of its leaves but it also has plenty of new one popping up. Also I’m not sure what is this 2nd succulent but I would like to propagate it. Do I just stick it in soil? ?
I just got this Burros Tail! $4 at Walmart is a steal! The only problem is I don’t know how to take care of it, very well. Pleas help! Thank you in advance! ❤️❤️
Can anyone identify this plant? It propagates really easy but gets really leggy as seen in the photos. Also any tips for making it less leggy?
New cactus and succulent friends :) I think the three pups are butterfly agave, and I’m not too sure what the cactus is. It doesn’t have roots so I hope it takes!
I’m having trouble identifying this succulent!!! Any ideas on what it might be?
Chopped all the strands off my burro tail succulent cause the pot was getting too heavy and too long. Will dry the ends overnight and repot them. This is the 8th time I have done this from the same original plant I got years ago. Such a forgiving plant and very resilient.
Hi!! Update on my string of pearls propagations!! They have grown roots! Well a few of them! No signs of new growth on the pearls but at least the cuttings have gotten somewhere!
New little friend for my lower light areas. It gripped the side of the pot while I was trying to center it, like a cartoon cat being thrown into a tub of water. I’m glad it didn’t grip my finger.
my flapjack succulent is doing so incredibly well, today i noticed this at the bottom, could that be a third new plant sprouting?? he already has a bigger one growing below him now, but is three even possible?? second photo is a current pic for reference.
Look how much my euphorbia has grown in just a few months! At least four-six inches on each branch. Hopefully it will flower for me 🤞😌
Curly Orchid Cactus
These are my 4 Desert Rose plants that I have had for about 3 years. You can see that I have kept them alive but they have never thrived or blossomed. The 3 small pots sit in a south facing window and the larger one sits in an east facing window Can anyone give me any advice on growing these? I have been following Planta’s watering and fertilizing schedule
Cool plant find. Cathedral Window Haworthia. Def adding to the succulent collection.
Hi!! So I got a Calandiva today at Trader Joe’s. Honestly it was an impulse buy and I really want to take care of it and see it thrive. I’ve read a bunch of articles and they all say that they bloom late winter and spring, and the flowers last around 4-6 weeks. But it’s the middle of summer and the flowers are still here…? Do I leave them alone? Should I be pruning them already? Any help is welcome :)
I noticed his stem is a dark green color! I looked it up and said it might be rot?! I don’t want my boy to die! I don’t water it more than once every 2-3 weeks? Or when the soil is dry! Should I get a bigger pot or maybe he needs more sun? His leaves have been naturally just falling off since I got him 3 months ago even tho they’re healthy :(
