I’ve got this syngonium Wendi-something and I’m not sure if I’m caring for it right! It has some new leaves which I always assume means good things and then also some Yellow leaves that are obviously turning to brown crunchy leaves. It wasn’t in a pot with drainage so I changed that. I’m going to start using distilled water. It is near a humidifier that’s averaging about 45% humidity. Will these new steps help? Is there something else I could do?? It’s in an east facing room and is across from the window so probably 10’ from the window.

Turtle vines go in sunshine jail for the winter

Will this grow roots if I leave it in water? It fell off while I was working on a bigger section.

Not sure what to do with these guys! I’m sure I need to bring them in as temps in Iowa are getting in the 40s at night. I assume they want sun? The long straggly thing, I’m not sure it’s doing well. Any advice??

I live in Wisconsin and been wanting to order a pink variant zz plant from Etsy. But the store is overseas. Super nervous that it wouldn't survive the travel to me. Any thoughts or feelings on pulling the trigger?

so this is very much in advance but i recently became a plant owner for the very first time and im at university right now. I’ve got an ivy, a small cactus and a small jade/money plant. I can’t bring them back home with me during the christmas break, so i was wondering how to make sure they don’t die over that period 😓 if anyone has any advice at all, please lmk!! i’ve attached pictures of my new plants here :)

I bought these grow lights a few weeks ago and I absolutely love them. They are so nice. It does red white and blue light and comes with instructions of what each light does and how to use really simple use high-quality led lights cheap on Amazon and my plants love them!

I just noticed my ZZ has some ridges or small cuts on the stem - has anyone experienced this or know what’s happening? I did recently add a support to this because it is getting big. Otherwise it’s a standard ZZ that just does its thing!

Helloooo. I know I could easily Google this, but thought I’d come to the lovely plant community instead. My spider plant isn’t taking water like it used to. It’ll sit at the top and *slowly* take it. Is it possible for soil to become hydrophobic over time? Should I repot in better soil? Thank you!

Weird find on my Zz today…. It’s got these weird rings on a few of its stems. Def not pests, I thoughly checked him and the surrounding others. I did put it on a lower shelf recently but it didn’t get banged or damaged that way I’m sure. Anyone seen this? They feel slightly raised.

What do I do with this random long root? It came like this Remember I’m the clueless newbie here 🫣so any and all help is appreciated

Hey guys! I was hoping someone could help me out with this. So I have been growing seedlings from lotus seeds in water. This guy has been submerged but I’m not sure if I should keep it submerged or leave the top part out of water. Any advice??
