Had to save this guy from Home Depot. The tray had no water and they were so dried up ☹️ this one was lucky and didn’t have the humidity dome taken off, so the moss was still a little damp. I have it in distilled water inside a small indoor greenhouse for now, and it’s looking much happier. Hoping it catches a few of the gnats that found their way in there lol.
My Venus flytrap doesn’t have any heads cause they all died off will it be okay without food Also I have it right up on my windowsill in direct sunlight so should my Venus flytrap bounce back?

hi everyone! first time plant mom here. i just got a Venus Fly Trap, im trying to figure out the best way to take care of it. I live in an apartment with a screened in balcony and honestly don’t see too many bugs. I live in Florida so it gets pretty hot on the balcony. any tips for me? i think she might be dying & i really wanna save her 🥲
Drosera regia is my favorite sundew, I love how big it gets, can’t wait till mine gets bigger!
Hey all, carnivorous newbie trying to rescue this 1” napenthes! I trimmed 3 dead pitchers, but the only one that had looked good has now died too :( Even so, new leaves are growing. I have her in this “terrarium” to try to keep her humid, is this okay? What else should I do?

Sorry for the blurry picture but my Cape Sundew has caught its first gnat!! Only had her just over a week so safe to say I’m over the moon!! (It’s the most left black blob in case anyone’s struggling 😂)

This is my first carnivorous plant, a nepenthes named Vlad. He had lots of dead stems on his leaves when I first got him, but seems to be doing a lot better now and he’s been growing lots of new pots. I did notice that a new plant/shoot (arrow is pointing to one of its leaves) which is trying to grow tiny pots. Should I leave it under Vlad or should I separate it out into its own little pot?
Hi everyone! I’ve just bought this Venus fly trap plant from a shop and I noticed it’s not in the best condition, I’ve watered it with rain water after some research and I’m just wondering if there are any ways to revive it? This is my first time owning one, thanks!
Had my cape sundew a week now and I’m praying she’s settling in… am I best feeding her while she’s acclimatising? If so what’s your recommendations? I have her sat in a dish/ramekin of rain water 🥰

Hey all! My poor Sundew Spatulata isn’t looking so great. A majority of her has dried up and turned brown. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! I keep her in a closed terrarium with a false bottom layer with a LED grow light on for about 10 hours a day. I keep the soil wet/bog-y and open the terrarium once a week for a little airflow. When she was in better health and dew-y, I tried feeding her ground up bloodworm, but she didn’t take the bait. I also tried to introduce some moss, but now it’s kinda taking her over. 😶 What should I do? 😓 Thank you in advance!

What are some reasons a Venus Fly Trap will not close? I repotted my Venus fly trap on Saturday. It stays outside where it gets a lot of direct light. Even though I really tried not to, I did trigger a few of the traps when repotting. But they have opened back up. I never feed it myself, but I can tell it catches bugs. There are two traps that just opened back up last week and the bug’s skeletons are left in the traps. And I saw it catch another bug Sunday. But today I watched a bug crawl over and into multiple traps and none of them triggered So I’m wondering if it’s just “full” and refusing to eat more than it needs? Or even though it’s caught something since repotting, it’s still stressed out from the repot itself?
I looked inside my pitcher plant today can it have mold?? I am really concerned!?
