Iāve had this fusion calathea for a little while now and itās always putting out new leaves. But lately the new leaves have been browning and shriveling up. I lightly mist my calatheas almost daily, and Iām usually good with watering. Anyone know whatās going on with this guy??
Hi, I was just wondering what the best fertilizer product/brand would be for all types of house plants. I own: Monstera, varieties of philodendron, cactus, as well as snake plants.
Picked up some babies today and could use some help identifying them. Anyone recognize these two?
Where to put plants?? So my house is situated in a way that has very little natural sunlight, I have utilized basically every window possible and I STILL am lacking adequate room for some plants I have. I have put them on the ground next to a window, in the windowsill, everywhere that can achieve sunlight without putting them outside because they would definitely die in one day. So, how can I keep my plants in the light and get new plants even if I have no window space? I think some of my plants are suffering because of the lack of sunlight, but putting them outside is not an option because they cannot survive the 100 degree days. Is there anything practical I can do for them? This begonia Rex, for example, used to be so much fuller but I cannot put it outside because thatās how it got scorched and almost died. Any tips?
Today I went to what used to be my favorite plant store but their prices are so much higher and every single plant was bone dry! So disappointing. ā¹ļø I guess this is good for my wallet š I donāt mind buying online but love the ambiance of plant stores. I did end up getting this little guy and a cute pot tho. The spines on top are naturally pink āŗļøāØ
Does anyone know what kind of plant this is?
Hello Planta community! Meet Mateo. He was given to me nearly 2 years ago, but I havenāt entered him into my Planta app because I have no clue what type of plant he is! I was thinking orchid, but he hasnāt flowered yet. Planta IDād him as an aloe (Iām dubious). On the other hand, I have been watering him like a succulent and heās doing well. Any ideas?
My calathea orbifola is struggling. Itās watered it fertilized and itās 3 feet from a west window. What can I do? Brown edges, brown spots and now a yellowing leaf
Any Chinese hibiscus folks around? Iāve been struggling a bit with my new-ish Chinese hibiscus. I had a couple of blooms a few weeks ago and Iām monitoring the soil and pH closely. I think the soil has been too wet recently and Iām trying to dry it out with a fan. It gets direct sunlight for about 8hrs a day. Has anyone successfully cultivated a Chinese hibiscus and can you share whatās worked or not worked for yours?

Hey Plant Friends, so I got two new plants from a big box store, which I hope I donāt regret later. Do you all treat your plants when you bring them home with neem oil even if you donāt see any little critters on them? As a preventative measure
