I just got this 2’ bird of paradise delivered and does anyone know if this new growth that was chopped will continue growing and sprout a new leaf? Or will the plant develop a new growth point in another area

Should I be concerned about this tiny lil’ scar on my echeveria? He’s under a grow light and I water him with the schedule, so I’m pretty sure this might be too much light but very unsure

Spider plant, thank you for being a friend. Rooting another batch of spiderlets. (really just an extremely transparent excuse to show off my tiki Golden Girls shot glasses)

Hey everyone! Fairly new to plants so before I get carried away (lol), is there a reason why I shouldn’t add rocks to the top of my soil on my indoor house plants? I was looking to give them a better look. I don’t have a pest problem and I bottom water my plants. A picture of two I tried out for reference. 🙂

Just an appreciation post for Gaia (my pothos) for her comeback. She had many bald spots on her vines I’m not sure if it was a blight of some sort but after repotting her and seeing her soil full of ants I figured she would come back strong after changing her soil and cleaning her roots and she did! She has about 13 new leaves coming in and I’m just so proud because I was worried about her. She is about 15 feet long and I’ve always taken great care of her. Another hardship prevailed 🌿🍃🪴👒💚

I have this string of hearts cutting given to me by a friend, I was wondering the best way to give it a chance to grow roots? I have perlite and coco coir fibre for propagation and soil mixes, of course as well as water propagation. What method would be considered the best for a string of hearts?

Hi guys, it would be great if anyone could suggest some plants for balcony that can survive in all climates/conditions :)

After a year of telling everyone that a Dremel is required for pot modification, I spent $6 on this pack of diamonds bits and pulled out my 35-year old drill. While using this combo would be a drag for glass etching etc., it was fine here. I didn’t electrocute myself, at least. Yeah, it is a little sloppy Joe on the bottom. It took a minute to figure out if this was actually going to work. The only bit needed is the one with the ball end. ps I had this species a few years ago but repotted it to death. I found it again in the lotto of what Costa Farms sends to Home Depot in October.

Hey! I bought this succulent a few weeks back, and have used multiple different apps to try to identify it, though, everything seems to be thrown off by the stem of it..the leaves on the bottom are turning a bit yellow, and two recently fell off, I’m guessing it was overwatering, it rained a lot the week I got it, and the store kept all the succulents outside while it was freezing cold. I’m more interested in finding out what type of succulent it is! And be able to take better care of it. I know the pot is too small, I’m not sure if I should re-pot it, since it’s winter and has been getting to low 20’s where I am. Thanks for any help!
