I’ve had this plant for a few years now. Just noticed this little bulge sticking up today. Does anyone know what it is?

I did the most ridiculous thing yesterday- I spotted a worm in my “ Arrowhead Plant” & i don’t know what possessed me to chuck salt at the worm 🪱 in my plant. Anyhoo I’ve come home and seen that she’s flopped… flip me I’ve killed her!! What do I do please?😭 😢 Thanks

Hello! Happy Monday! I just got home from Target and saw a great deal. Two plants for $15! It included a small purple orchid and a not so well looking spider plant. The orchid is doing great but the spider plant is not. I was wondering if I should cut off the tips of the dead leaves? Let me know!

So I’m not very good with plants at all, and I just need some help. What can I do to get my plant not looking all wrinkled like this?? More water or sun?

Was worried about bugs on my brand new pothos since something was eating it, till I found new evidence. She has no regrets

My birds of paradise is dying. What can I do to save it? The middle stalk seems to be okay but the other 4 aren’t thriving.

What’s a plant you struggle with? Mine is my Alocasia Watsoniana. I got this diva girl about 4 months ago and her roots rotted twice - once in pon and once in soil. Then it got to a stump, I tried to re-root it again in fluval and it just decided to fully unalive itself 😢 Somehow I still want to get another one and try again but my common sense is telling me I shouldn’t cause these gals are not the cheapest 😆 Anyways, what’s your diva plant?

Hey All! I just an Alocasia Black Velvet. The plant app says it’s hard. Do you guys have any tips for this one? I’ve never had an Alocasia before. Other than an African mask it died out no where.

This plant has given me so many issues. I don’t know what is wrong with it. The oldest leaves yellow so fast and I can only keep about three good leaves on him at a time. I tried insecticide because I saw some soil critters but don’t know if that was the issue or not. Any ideas? Just repotted him.

I have had this little white wizard starter plant (x2) since May 12th. Are they very slow growers or am I doing something wrong? Maybe the pot is too big and they’re scared to branch out? I fertilize according to Planta schedule.. water accordingly as well if my meter agrees. All my windows have indirect light so for part of the day I turn on my version of grow lights (grow light bulbs in table lamps) … any wizardry advice!

I just snagged a White Ice Princess philodendron from Kroger. Apparently it is a combination of a White Knight and a Pink Princess philodendron. Apparently that means that along with white variegated leaves, there’s a chance for pink variegated leaves as well. Let’s see! If you have a Kroger near you, keep an eye out!

Just took a trip to Lowe’s to check out the plants, came home with these two- left is labeled assorted foliage and ID says Pothos’ n Joy, the one on right is a Manjula Pothos, I’m no root expert but both of these babies look like they need bigger pots, right??

Hi everyone! I made my own tropical mix but the only potting soil that was available had fertilizer in it. My “recipe” is two parts potting soil, two parts orchid bark, 1 part perlite, and a bit of horticultural charcoal and mosquito bits. Should I fertilize since it’s not straight potting soil? I don’t want to over fertilize it either. I use General Hydroponics Flora Series liquid fertilizers for my plants that are in leca.
