My birds of paradise is dying. What can I do to save it? The middle stalk seems to be okay but the other 4 aren’t thriving.

Maybe root rot? The pot might be too big.

These were the roots before I repotted it. It’s been reported for close to a month now and it doesn’t seem to be adjusting well 😔

It may be stress. Especially if you pulled the roots that were out of the pot through the pot drainage holes

Sometimes if it’s the outer leaves dying in plants like this it’s light. It needs enough light to support the number of leaves it has. If it doesn’t have the light it needs it will lose leaves and keep the newest leaves it can support. It will only keep as many leaves as it can support.

Thank you! This makes sense. Should I cut the putter leaves off?

Up to you if you want to cut them or not. It won’t make a difference except to how it looks. Try to let it dry out well before you water again to let those roots adjust.
