Has anyone used a grow light bulb in a regular lamp and then placed the lamp on a timer? I’m wanting to put a plant by my couch but it doesn’t get a lot of indirect light there so I was going to put a bulb in my lamp.

I’ve had this dumbcane for about 7 years now. Its clone I propagated two years ago is in the background. These are the biggest leaves it’s ever made.

My beautiful paddle plant, I love how the leaves stacked up on each other. They grow quite fast! This is over a foot tall. It was just a nub when I got it a year ago

This peace lily is not bringing me peace lol. I have had her for about 2 months. She is now producing a new flower…… she already has. 4 that have yet to bloom. Idk what I’m doing wrong or right since she’s producing hella more leaves as well!

hi! me again! thanks to everyone who gave me great recommendations! i was specifically leaning towards non toxic plants— i have a two year old cat & have never had her around plants. I want to add some hanging pothos to my apartment & need some other recommendations for plants for floor or accessible areas to my kitty that are safe for her! thank you

Hello plant friends today I started a trial run with an arrowhead syngonium planted in a hydroponic set up with Lecca clay balls🤞🏽🤞🏽I purchased it from Home Depot for $5.98. I certainly wasn’t putting any of my other healthy babies in Lecca until I see if I got it mastered. The plant name is LIAM!! I also had purchased this Aglonema from Amazon in which I originally purchased for the hydroponic set up Aka PINKY!!🙂🙂then for sure me loving pothos had to snag another one.. aka ISAIAH !! 🤞🏽🤞🏽Liam looks so good in Lecca!!

Okay I think this may be bc I moved this plant bc I thought maybe it was getting too much sun. Nothing made me think that it was doing fine before LOL. But I was worried bc the leaves are so thin. Most of the leaves still look good but a few don’t look great/have some weird coloring. I moved it back to its original spot but anything else I should do?

recently my mini monstera has been putting out a crazy amount of new leaves but i recently noticed that this new one isn't fenestrated and quite small. any idea as to what may have caused this? for comparison, here is the little not-fenestrated leaf vs. the second newest leaf. some of the newer ones have also come out a littke deformed, with black streaks and folds (see the last 2 pictures). thanks in advance!
