I’ve been looking at this plant for most of the summer, knowing I had to do something about it, since it had stems that were falling on the floor. Voilà… the dirty deed is finally done; what do you think? But, I do have two questions: how do I stabilize the moss pole; it doesn’t seem very sturdy and it’s pushed all the way down into the dirt. Also, does that, musty, sort of nasty smell, ever go away? I’m definitely not appreciating that,🤭!

I need to repot my bird of paradise plant, but not sure what to use for soil since this is my first time repotting it. I normally use the Fox Farm Ocean Forest potting soil for my plants and they have all been doing great with that, but I am not sure if that can be used for the BOP as well. Any suggestions or advice greatly appreciated!

this lil lady right here JUST NOW bloomed & it’s my first successful hoya bloom!! & i’m so surprised cuz she’s so tiny! i’ve had peduncles grow before on other plants but then fall off, so i’m over the moon about this. i’d love for one of my pink bloomers to bloom next 🥹
