Hey guys. New to planting and starting out small. Just potted a Pothos not that long ago but today I just received my small batch of mix succulents and aloes. They’re very tiny bc I wanna start out small. Any tips on how long to wait til their first watering or how long to keep them in their nursery pots? Any advice is welcome to have my plants grow and last.

This plant is giving me a headache. I brought her back to life but she was outside on my balcony. Now that the weather has changed I had to bring her inside. Any tips on keeping this plant alive inside 🤣😭?
Is there a way in Planta to combine 2 plants?
I am wanting to cut my lucky bamboo to have another. It’s my first time. Any tips?
This plant was stressing me out, so I pruned it completely lol 💆🏼♀️ I repotted it in a smaller pot cuz surprise surprise, I think the issue was too much soil for her roots I'm propagating the rest in water. I feel soooo freeeee!
Sometimes I struggle with depression. Like many of you, I’ve found gardening to be quite therapeutic. But on the really horrible days, it’s all I can do to just get outside. These photos were recently taken on one of those days. My hope is that they brighten your day- if only a little. There’s goldenrod at sunset, a striking satzuki azalea, a pair of lemony winter daffodil and an American strawberry bush. 🌼 May God abundantly bless you!
If you could have any plant you wanted, what would it be?🪴
I’d like to learn from you about storing terracotta pots in the winter. Winters in New England are quite cold and I understand cracking can be an issue. While the best way to handle this is probably to relocate them to our basement, or even garage, I think that creates a new concern for my back cracking (far more painful than pots cracking). Is there any way to keep these outside and also protect them? Maybe storing them near the foundation, something involving a tarp, or hay, or something I clearly have not yet thought of? Is it better to dump the soil inside and store them empty, or keep the soil inside? Is it okay to stack them? Nest them? What haven’t I considered? Oh my goodness, I’m so new to this and really don’t want to lose these pretty pots, and mostly my back. Thoughts?
Hey guys!! Was wondering if anyone could recommend certain brands/types of soil for me to use? I definitely mix things together but was curious of what the best options are!! P.S. if you look at my plants they seem neglected… I haven’t updated the app in a while!!😅
picked these up as clearance at walmart today :) love my little trio!
My Chinese Evergreen Nymphadora had unfortunately been having a lot of leaves turn yellow. Today I looked at the roots and saw they were all dead. Thankfully not rotted, and neither was the stem, so I cut all of the dead off and I’m restarting her in water. Pray for us! I’m transferring her to a larger vase soon. She’s only in there for now!
New leaf!!! I am so proud rn she has matured 🥺 I cannot wait until it hardens ☺️ When it was all curled I saw one fenestration, and then a couple days later the leaf exposed two more :) should I expect every leaf that follows to have fenestrations?
Does anyone from Planta ever answer a question or make a comment on here?
Not sure where to post this, I know Planta has an ai bot but I can’t find it….. I deleted my outdoor sites because I can’t stand when Planta tells me to care for them once fall/winter comes along and they go dormant. I didn’t realize when I did that the plants that were in those sites would be deleted! Is there a way to get them back?
Is there a way of saying to this app that you are going to be away for a bit and it then adjusted the plan automatically to account for it?
Who are your favorite plant influencers and what platform are they on!? 🌿💚

Has anyone tried to return a Costco plant due to pests? I have a massive and beautiful calathea has mealy bugs that just won’t quit. I’ve done everything in my power and I am about to call it. I got it at Costco, would they take it back because it has pests?
