I was gifted this plant and was told it was a Schefflera Alpine. It came from a local botanical center where some friends volunteered one day. Itâs so pretty and is still so green and shiny like when I got it in mid-April. It just hasnât made any new leaves. I donât know much about this type of plant. Does anyone have advice? Do we agree thatâs what this is?

The first pic is a current picture of my $18 clearance plant I got about 6 months ago from Target and Iâve been obsessed with her. So I couldnât help myself when I found this vibrant beauty at Loweâs yesterday!! đ„č I cut a LOT of leaves off that were dead looking to make room for growth đ„° canât wait to watch her become like the first picture! I have full hope in her.
Hi! I was gifted a flaming katy that lives in my kitchen, it gets sun in the afternoon / evening. The leaves have always looked a bit holey and have brown sections - can I help them in any way?
Crazy what can happen in two yearsâŠ. Both of these are two years apart, this month.
I have a couple corms that are just starting to sprout little roots. I see people starting them in stratum and perlite. Is that the best way to start? Whatâs next and when?

Does anybody know why the tops of my string of pearls is shriveling? I cut a bunch off and repotted the healthy ends. Does it need more light?

Growth Question: I have a nepenthes dyeriana thatâs put out two new leaves within the past month, but the pitchers arenât growing. I can see they are formed, but they are staying immature, and the most recent leaf is starting to fold like a taco. Iâm thinking Iâm low on light or humidity. Itâs in my shower with a humidifier as well, so I donât think it ever dips below 70%. As for light, itâs about a foot away from a 24 watt full spectrum light, and gets 12 hours of light a day.
Got a question for the avid gardeners on here. Whatâs the best thing/method to get pollen stains out of white shirts? Made the mistake of checking out the new blooms in my raised bed of lilies and now Iâve got bright orange pollen on my sleeves. đ Thanks in advance for any help in getting them out. Donât wanna risk setting the stain on this one. Itâs kinda my favorite shirt.
