Hello, I am looking into getting a green house so it can be ready for spring and summer. What greenhouses would you recommend? I donāt like the look of the plastic tent ones I would prefer a stable greenhouse that can stay up all year since I live in Oregon we get some decent rain, show and wind in the winter. Feel free to post pics of your greenhouses as well as any advice regarding greenhouses and growing in greenhouses! I am not opposed to building one instead of buying one so show me your greenhouses and ideas! Thanks so much!

Pelargoniums! Which one is your favorite? šø In Sweden we have a Geranium that's called Dr. Westerlunds flower (Pelargonium Graveolens) after Dr Ernst Westerlund (1839ā1924). He believed that its fresh, citrusy scent could purify the air and speed up recovery for the sick. Pelargonium has been a beloved houseplant in Sweden since the 18th century and has had various folk names over time, including "Farmerās fart", "Old womanās fart", "The hasty suitor", "Bedbug tree" and "Smells nice". If you want to taste it here's a recipe for it as well: Ingredients - 200 ml (0.8 cups) granulated sugar - 10 green leaves of Dr. Westerlundās flower (rose geranium) + 5 finely chopped leaves for the glaze - 150 g (5.3 oz) room-temperature butter - 2 eggs - 200 ml (0.8 cups) all-purpose flour Glaze - 150 ml (0.6 cups) powdered sugar - About 1 tbsp water Instructions 1. Preheat the oven to 175°C (347°F). Grease and flour a springform pan, approximately 18 cm (7 inches) in diameter. 2. Blend the sugar and 10 plant leaves together until you get green-colored sugar. 3. Whisk the scented sugar and butter together until light and fluffy using an electric mixer. Add one egg at a time, beating well after each addition. Finally, mix in the flour. 4. Spread the batter evenly in the pan and bake in the middle of the oven for 25ā30 minutes. Check with a toothpickāif it comes out clean, the cake is done. Let it cool completely. 5. Mix the powdered sugar and water into a thick glaze, then stir in the finely chopped leaves. Spread the glaze over the cake. Enjoy! My spider plant has been growing a baby for a over a month now, and I saw that you can add them into the same pot as the mum to make her bigger/thicker. I grew 3 avocado pits from King Soopers and 2 never opened. This one just did and has shot up over the past week! Care tips welcome, 3rd time doing it and it's always been tricky to keep them happy, but they never seem to truly die off so that's a plus.
My strawberry begonia's pushing 3 babies out right now! I'm planning to keep them connected to the mother plant for 3ish months, but figured I'd ask if anyone has advice on propagating afterwards. Will the pups grow sufficient roots or Will I need to keep it in a moss box/ water once they're a good size?
My fiddle leaf fig has sprouted a huge new leaf!! Iāve had her about a year and she hasnāt grown very large leaves until now. Do I need to prune any of the older, smaller leaves or just leave it alone? Thanks!
