What plants would you recommend for hanging pots directly in a large full south facing window? Bonus if it’s a trailing plant, but not pothos because I already have a lot of those 😂 the pots would be about 30 cm from the window but it does get really sunny and hot. I’m open to many options but currently have these plants that don’t yet have an assigned spot in my house: tradescantia nanook, tradescantia pallida, raphidophora tetrasperma (mini monstera), aloe vera and monstera adansonii. Thank you!

This plant seems so happy here, but the app tells me it might be in a spot too dark for it. Should I move it? also should I trim the at the rate it’s going? It’ll reach the floor soon lol some of the leaves near the soil seem dead. Am I supposed to weed them out? Hope everyone is having an amazing day sending positive vibes out.

what does it mean when a leaf is very slow to unfurl? I’ve had this philo birkin for over a month and this leaf just refuses to open.

Hi guys, I have a question. Does the grow light have to be above the plant like the sun? Or is it ok to be on the side or even slightly under the plants level as shown below? 🤷🏽‍♀️🤍🪴

Hi everyone. Can someone help me determine what could be wrong with my darling? I use tap water in Toronto. I believe she’s a calathea. Unbeknownst to me.

Hey! For all those in the world of YouTube, there’s a planty creator I stumbled across (some might know him already, just wanted to share) The Bearded Plantaholic, his content might not be everyone’s thing. But I for one, like the levity and laughter he brings to the plant world! ✌🏼🌿🌱💚

Does anybody else have a plant they just can’t stand? I’m not sure what it is about this thing but I just do not enjoy it. But I feel like I can’t get rid of it since I’ve had it its whole life.

Bit if a difficult one but if anyone is mega experienced with neglected monstera, PLEASE let me know. I left this monstera at my mom’s house nearly two years ago and all that was done with it is watered and left to its own devices. I don’t really want to have to propagate if I can help it as I’m not experienced in this matter and I don’t want to kill it after it’s tried to fight for life 😭 over the last few years. It looks like I’ll probably have to and separate it in to three plants if I do. How would I go about this? I want to save it because it was my baby that I sadly left behind. ANY help at all will be appreciated.

Hi! I have a question about something that isn’t a huge issue but I just have had so much trouble figuring it out without asking someone with experience. My ficus is healthy but not growing. I recently repotted it, and although it may have been too soon, the pot wasn’t drastically bigger than the original. My basic question is whether I should leave it alone or try to pinch off the “new” growths pictured, which aren’t actually new. The ficus has looked as pictured for about a month now, I’d say. You can see the updates on the plant’s profile if needed too! Thank you anyone who takes the time to help!

What should I plant my Thai Constellation in? I’m thinking it is in coconut coir but I’m not sure. I currently have a monstera at home in a panic of potting soil, perlite, and orchid bark. I’ve heard some things about leca but I’m not sure how to use that or if I should? Help!
