Update on my peperomia:
It seems to continue to decline. I am debating on continuing to watch, as it seems to have occasional healthy leaves, or trying to propagate and start a new plant if it grows. This is normally such a beautiful plant I am sad to see it die:(
Summary: bought it on July 7th. In September I started noticing some yellowing leaves, and some soft drying out & drooping ones. After some research I thought I might be overwatering it. I then repotted it in a terracotta pot, also read somewhere that it needs more light than what I had on my balcony so I shone a grow light on it 8 hours/day. Now it really is much more sad looking.
Any thoughts/suggestions? The pictures show the progression.

I feel like my Yucca Plant doesn’t appear it’s doing well, online says it should remain upright but it’s droopy. I don’t overwater and it’s placed about 2 meters in front of my large living room windows. Any suggestions? Thank you 💖

Need advice…
My baby has lost so many leaves. I repotted him awhile back and everything was going great. Nothing else has changed. He was repotted and put back in the same spot. The only time he gets moved is to water him and then he gets put back.

Help! I found this beautiful girl on clearance at Safeway. I’m not sure where to start but she definitely needs some love. My initial thought is the soil doesn’t look chunky enough so I’m going to replant.

When soil gets old or too compacted, does it cause water to run right through it?
When I water my Maranta water runs directly through it. I was watering according to the app., but it’s getting way too crunchy and sad. So I watered again today and I’m letting it set in the saucer for a bit before I dump it out.
It’s in 4”nursery plastic pot with terra cotta cover pot, but I think it should go in a 6” glazed ceramic.

I don’t understand why the leaves are turning yellow. He is by the window so he has great lighting (north facing). I water when the app tells me to. What am I doing wrong? 😢

My Alocasia “Polly” lost a stem, and it fell out of the pot. Some very nice Planta member told me to put it in water to grow some roots, so I could perhaps save this stem. Is this stem now ready to be potted, or should it grow more roots?
Also, if you can see it, look at the picture of the top of the stem, it appears to be growing something… maybe a leaf, IDK. Can anybody solve this mystery, or is it too early to tell what this is? TIA for any info… 🤗💚🪴

I’m so excited about this Scindapsus Treubii Moonlight, which just found a home amidst a few of my other plants this past week.
I had one Silver Satin once before but she died a swift but sad death a couple years ago.
This guy is Beethoven, because Moonlight Sonata. Ecstatic to be restarting my collection of Scindapsus with this one. I LOVE the metallic sheen on Scindapsus leaves and can’t wait until the Silver Satin cutting I have now has roots enough to plant!
Also, does anyone else name their plants?
