My poor Dotty Parton has been through hell the past couple of months. I had her too close to the grow light, and she got a ton of leaf burn. She was also in desperate need of a prune and repot. Dolly’s passing today was the “cup of ambition” I needed to get Dotty cleaned up, repotted, and on the road to recovery. Soon, she’ll be back to being as beautiful as the legend she’s named after. May Dolly rest in peace. ❤️🦋

Hello!! This is Juliette & she’s a heart fern! Her leaves grew really large over the first couple of months, but recently all new leaf growth is turning brown/wilting. Her established leaves are starting to turn brown on the edges. Her pot has drainage and she isn’t in direct sunlight. Any thoughts?

What is happening to my orchid? I just cleaned out her bark. I've been doing 20 minute soak 2x a week. She has some wrinkly leaves and roots but also healthy green leaves and roots. No she has spots of her leaves.

Need some advice from my Planta family on a couple things… 1. Has anybody had any luck repotting an alocasia from chunky soil to a leca and moss glass vase? If so, what levels did you place the leca and moss? And how did your plant do? 2. I’ve seen so many different ways to acclimate TCs. I am planning on potting mine in a self watering dome cup with moss and I’ve seen that you have to make sure all the gel is removed and to soak them in a bowl with water and a few drops of iodine. I am just so concerned that I’m going to kill these plants. Any advice anybody can give me is appreciated. Thanks family.
Can I cut these little ones off? It’s a little crowded
This is my first time propagating and I’m trying to use my little fish tank. I noticed the ends of the propagations are brown on two of them and it seems to be spreading… Are they rotting?? On the lighter stem you can see little white roots starting to poke out but it’s really close to the brown area. What should I do if anything? Just for reference the water is moving and they are near the filter so get some circulation.

Hello!! It’s been awhile! How does everyone get their plants to push out leaves indoors? I brought my plants out for a week and they pushed out soooooo many leaves. Even the ones I thought were dead surprised me with some leaves. Any tips? Have a great day!

Hey so I’ve been trying now for a few weeks to propagate from my big leaf hydrangea and for a while the stem was doing great I was changing out the water regularly and it was fine. But recently the stem has started to go brown and the leaves are starting to droop. It’s been about 8 weeks and no sign of any roots forming. Any advice on how to propagate a big leaf hydrangea?
