What is the best way to transfer water propagations to soil? I fail almost every time!

    I’ve always just placed them in new soil for seeds and made sure to keep the water moist “not soggy” for about a week and within a month or two place them in a pot not a pot too very big but big enough to allow them to live in it for a few months or so in regular soil for house plants. Well draining soil. You could add some perlite and according to how much light they require don’t overdue it. Hopefully that helps a little. Good luck!

      You know, you could try a root stimulator or solution too. They help with new rooted plants. I used to work in the garden section at the Home Depot and I learned from working there

    water thoroughly and keep the soil moist for a few weeks. then taper off into a normal schedule

    Pot size was always my undoing with props. So much smaller of a pot to start them than you think! Less soil also means less chance of them sitting in wetness too long with their baby roots rotting. I unalived many a Pothos and Philodendron before I adjusted this aspect and now they’re doing great!) Good luck!
