Made the decision to chop my pole down today. Nothing was wrong with it, I just changed my mind on what I wanted for this plant. That’s the fun part of this hobby, there’s so much you can do with plants.

Just repotted today with general indoor plant soil. Looks healthy but have some leaves snapped on the spine. In a north facing window as of today. Was currently in a south facing window. Any solutions for that? Snip them or leave them?

I have a dilemma. I repotted my BOP early January because there were massive roots growing out of the bottom (I had to cut the pot to keep the roots) and the roots were also pushing the plant up and out of the pot because they were so big. When I watered it a couple days ago, there was a chonky root growing out of the bottom. How do you keep roots from growing out of the bottom of the pot before they fill the pot? Edit: Also, this is only an issue for me (the plant is happy). I just want the plant to sit flat in its cache pot, and I don’t want to have to cut another pot off this plant.

Hey guys new here! Is it possible to have all plants on the same watering and misting schedule? I go by the app for that but I’m serious. Thanks :)

Can anyone give me suggestions as to why my little plant is not growing? It’s a Dracaena fragrance. I’ve had it for a while and it just doesn’t seem to be getting bigger! Also wanted a recommendation on whether I should get a moss pole for my monstera plant. I’m looking to improve the quality of life. Any tips greatly appreciated!

I’m in need of nerve plant tips for a plant I was given.. it was so leggy and in bad condition so I decided to cut the leggy growth and repot into something with drainage and better soil. Already I see some healthy growth coming up, I want to make sure it stays healthy!!

Hello! I have this ivy, in wondering what kind it is? I think it’s variegated ivy but I’d like a second opinion. Also the app said that I have no places to put this plant but I very much do? I don’t know if it just glitched or what?

I desperately need some advice…. This is my Cotyledon Pendens. She started out as barely a 2 inch starter plant and you can see she has gotten significantly bigger but especially fuller. Planta says she needs to be repotted. How do I do this without damaging her and losing all her ā€œleavesā€- is that the proper term..lol? The pot itself is a very heavy ceramic/terra-cotta pot. I cannot even get my hands under the leaves. This plant looks like it’s been given steroids!!!

I’m in desperate need of some help with my Thai constellation! I bought it a month ago and shortly thereafter found root rot. I had to cut the rotted roots and treated with hydrogen peroxide. Ever since the rot has continued to progress and my plant keeps declining. Now all that is left is one little root. It’s currently in sphagnum moss and perlite and some rooting hormone and it under a grow light 12+ hours a day. And it just keeps declining! What can I do to save this plant?

Hi everyone šŸ‘‹šŸ» fairly new here, but just wanted some advice on my peace lily as I’m at a dead end. My plants used to have fungus gnats really badly, and I thought I found a way to eradicate them, however, it appears every time I water my lily the gnats hatch and I get the little white larvae. There’s no live flies anywhere. I feel like I’ve tried everything, even the layer of sand at the top of the soil (and get this, the gnats lay their eggs at the BOTTOM of the soil instead). Does anyone know why and how they keep coming back, and how to rid of them all together 😭
