I just got this lil arrowhead plant. My first one! Anyone have any tips for me so I don’t kill it? I tend to do that with new plants, I over love them lol. But I’m learning!

    i had a similar plant in a similar pot and it died quickly… good luck :)

      Oh no! :( this one has a decent size drainage hole so hopefully it does okay.

    Id recommend drainage and only water when soil is at least 80% dry (use chopstick or something to test soil; if it sticks when you pull it out, don’t water)

    I learned mine really dont like when i miss watering day, but make sure soil is dry before watering, do u just use regular potting mix? If ur an overwaterer like me sometimes the soil can stay wet too long in just standard mix, i use a bit of perlite so more oxygen gets to the roots, and succulent soil! I use like 80:20 soil/perlite ratio (usually just measure w my hand)

      I used an orchid/tropical soil mix to help with air flow and drainage. It’s the soil most of my plants have and all seem happy so far.

    I’ve had one from a friend going in water. It’s actually doing great lol. I love watching the roots grow
