My father passed away, and I took in one of his plants. We both had a green thumb, so I’d really love to bring it back to life. I only brought it outside for the photo—it normally stays in my condo near the patio glass door. My condo is half underground, which keeps it nice and cool, but it doesn’t get a lot of natural light. I watered it three days ago, but it never fully perked up. Any advice on what I can do to help revive it would mean a lot.

Amazing news!! We have resistance from four of the snake props when I (VERY gently) give them a little tug. I still have hope for one or two of the others, I think I know at this point which ones aren’t going to make it. The winners are Regulus, Narcissa, Bellatrix, and Barty Crouch Jr! Updates on whether Fenrir and Lucius make it are coming! Nagini is one proud momma!

Looking for a plant to keep in my bathroom. I’m new to this so I would like something low maintenance. I also only have one window (the bottom of the window is frosted), but this would be set next to that window. Suggestions?

My calthathea, not the most stunning in my collection but the one im most proud of. Rescued her from my work office about a year ago. The first photo is all that was left of her after I cut all the dead off. Now look at her!😁 (saved the little cacti too. They had thought it was a fake and ignored it)

Hi! I’m new to the plant community and could use some advice. I bought these two plants from the same place, and they both had the same name on the label. However, my plant identification app is telling me they are different plants. Should I continue following the care instructions the app suggests for each one, or could someone help me identify them and recommend the proper care? I plan to keep them outdoors. Any tips or guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Newest leaf on a deliciosa that’s over a decade old. Love how many fenestrations (holes/slits) it has! I was worried it was smaller than the previous leaf 17” x 27” and it is but hopefully it gets bigger cause I just measured it at 16” x 17”. I can’t imagine what this plant could be like if it had optimal light and if I didn’t neglect it around year 5-6 but I’m pleased with its progress so far.

I have been growing my tomato plant since 4 months now, from the whole tomato(slices) potted into the potting mix. It is growing bushy and healthy but it didn’t start to flower yet. Could you please suggest what can be done. Thank you

Aiko

Help! I’m afraid to try and secure my plant that’s growing rapidly.. I really do not know how to handle monstera plants when it comes to anchoring or stabilizing them..what’s the best thing to do? Right now the wall is holding her up.

Some distinguishing marks aren’t flaws. 🌿 They’re scars my plant earned over time while I learned. I don’t hide them… I admire them. They’re part of our journey. 💚🥰 #NeeCee_LovesPlants #PlantWhisperer #Houseplants #PlantPhotography #PlantJourney #PlantCommunity #GrowThroughWhatYouGoThrough

Is it normal for Hoyas to be growing only vertically? This is my first one and I thought they were trailing plants?

Hi! Can anyone help identify this plant for me! I bought at a local greenhouse and the label didn’t make it clear. It was marked as some type of dracaena. I believe it to now be a corn plant because it is getting brown tips due to what I believe is the tap water ( I googled and found out corn plants share this sensitivity leaving them with brown tips ) Anything helps thank you!!!!

My Burgundy Rubber Plant is losing its deep burgundy and leaves are curled. It is not dehydrated and I have it in Part Sun, Part Shade outside. Any ideas? I don’t know why but I just don’t do well with these ever.

Just been gifted these 3 plants, any general tips or advice for them? Especially the younger ones as it’s the first time having one that isn’t mature. Also they don’t have any drainage holes, and I want to repot them into pots with drainage, but the gifter only just repotted them, so I need to wait to avoid more stress on them?
