Help! I’m afraid to try and secure my plant that’s growing rapidly.. I really do not know how to handle monstera plants when it comes to anchoring or stabilizing them..what’s the best thing to do? Right now the wall is holding her up.

I have literally anchored mine with yarn to the wall. The anchor is permanent but the yarn I can cut or untie as needed. Don’t be afraid. Just find whatever works in your space. You really can’t hurt it if you need to redo it a few times to see what works

A beauty 🫶🏾 this is my first time growing them to this stage
0 J'aimeI got a monstera last month and I’m thinking of putting a moss pole. Have you tried it?
2 J'aimeNo not yet..I have these other anchor thingys coming soon
0 J'aimeMiss pokes can work. Be careful what you buy as the wood can rot in the soil over time on some of them. I used to be scared, too. I just separated mine and repotted from one plant to three using bamboo trellis and some 2x2s that I sealed at the bottom. Good luck!
1 j'aimeBeautiful! I thought of separating them but I need to do research on how to do it properly
1 j'aimeThat should say moss poles! Never post before coffee!

Mine has a moss pole but I can’t say it’s “working”. What does working mean? I mean the moss died pretty quickly, I couldn’t kept it moist enough. The areal roots haven’t secured to it so…that’s not helpful. I’m not really sure what it’s doing other than just being there…
