Is this actually a monstera obliqua Peru? Photo by Planta (just downloaded today) said it was a monkey mask, I just received it and planted it yesterday, it already looks healthier than yesterday; this is one of my dream plants to own but I’m also not sure if I got scammed.

Does anyone use this fertilizer? How should I use it? All the information I’ve found says to apply it to dry soil and then water, but the bottle says to apply it to moist soil. I don't know how to use it—I'm confused, haha.

I recently bought some Echeveria and put them in a bowl together. Left em in a south window for about a week before I got them a strong grow light. This is how they’re looking now. Thoughts? First pick is day of repotting.

My Amazonian elephant ear keeps losing leaves and is turning yellow. I was told that I’m overwatering but I stopped watering every day and it’s still turning colors. Thoughts?

i have been a heavily invested, super proud plant lady for the past 2+ years. I have under 30 plants & am slowly continuing to build a collection of my favorites. For some reason, alocasias make me nervous. I’d love to have one someday but aren’t they super picky and pest-prone? I would appreciate any tips and tricks or insight about how you all seem to have the prettiest alocasias

New spider plant Mommie here!! Any tips or info on how to keep her beautiful like she is now are much needed and welcome!! I know they say you can’t kill it, easiest plant to care for ever but those are the ones I habitually have zero luck with!! She seems to be full of pups, do I leave them alone or remove and propagate…. Yeah I’m lost with this!!

You know, I lived in California for years and I could do whatever I wanted with plants any time, and now I live in the Northeast and I find myself thinking, maybe I should buy an episcia before the frost sets in and they can’t mail plants any more.

Hi everyone! What’s your recommendation on potting soil? I have a few clippings of pothos, spider plant, basket, and mother of millions. Not planning on potting them together but I’m not sure what soil/mixture to use!

just sharing a picture of my “oldest” plant. It was new in the mid-80’s in a 4” square pot. He really enjoyed the summer of ‘26.

The cat never sat in her cat tree. As soon as I started saying, “maybe I’ll get rid of it and get a plant stand,” she decided to use it again. So…this is our compromise, although she does seem to be showing too much interest in the palm so it might need to move.

I purchased some geraniums this spring at Lowe's. And I'm wondering if I can winter those over in my plant light basement, or if there's another way to keep them for next year. I live in Iowa

Hey, my baby has been doing really well. She’s doesn’t like being in the living room. 😂🤦🏽‍♀️ so our bedroom is where she will be living for now on. But my reasoning for this post!!!!!! It’s about to get cold and where I live it gets really cold. Can I get some tips and tricks on how to keep my baby blooming and happy during the cold months. THANK YOU ALL. 💛💚
