Why are Macramé plant hangers so expensive?
I get it, it’s a creative thing. When stores charge $24.99, $29.99, $34.99, $39.99, etc., etc. it then becomes a strange price structure.
Materials:
1. String or yarns
2. some wooden or plastic beads
3. A ring or multiple rings to hold things together
Created by:
a. Individual items created by creative humans.
b. Multiple, mass produced, items created by machine and monitored by humans doing as they are told.
And then all the sales and transportation costs. I get it. Everyone has those costs. It’s called being in business.
This amazing string, wooden beaded, plant hanger was purchased at the store FiveBelow. It’s over 5 years old now too.
I think it was $4.99 and I wish I had bought 5 of them.
(Large Saucer, 3 plants & 3 pots, and ceiling hook, was NOT included. )

I bought this huge mixed Monstera from CVS, but I am not sure if she needs to be repotted or if I should chop down some of the leaves???
It’s my first time having a Monstera and I received a couple comments from friends about the pot size/ overcrowding and about adding some sort of poles to aid in climbing
If anyone can give me any tips, tricks or advice, it would be plenty helpful

Is there a way to pause progress updates for outdoor until next year? Many plants in my garden are now going dormant and keeping an update journal seems pointless.

hey guys! i have this pothos for about a year now and it never grew, it’s still the same as how i’ve got it. i was instructed to water it every 2 days and leave it in a place that has light, but it seems like i’ve been overwatering it and leaving in a dark place, which is in my kitchen. can you guys give me any tips on how i can restore this plant so she can thrive?
i’m very new in plant care, and would like to have more plants but i just need to know what i can do to make it right.

Hey, I plants this basil that my mom bought from the grocery store. It was in a root ball to keep it fresh so I just separated a few groups. It recently started wilting a lot so I took the leaves off. Any way to save it or should I start over?

Recurring infrequent plant maintenance💚
Discovering that I’m going to need to account for little things in my plant care maintenance, like replacing top soil. My outdoor plants seemed low (I could see some roots) so I added soil for them. How often do you do this? And are there any other things I might need to do from time to time to care for my plants? Besides water, fertilizer, battle pests, repot, light check, ?

I was repotting my alocasias, and I found so many corms in my alocasia Polly and Jacklyn!! If someone could help with how to know which ones are viable and how best to grow them, that would be great!
