So happy with my recovering monstera
Where do people stand on taking houseplants outside in the summer? I have a few that I do that with and they absolutely thrive. Itâs almost like they hold on in the fall and winter just to go outside again. But is it too much change? My husband also thinks they bring in bugs but I donât think thereâs any evidence of that. Thoughts?
Should I be concerned about the shape of my fiddly fig? Itâs like folded up at the top. Might it be too close to the grow light? It is growing new leaves up top but has lost a leaf at the bottom and another is not looking super good. Also contemplating repotting??? Any advice is appreciated!
Could a spider plant and a prayer plant live together in the same pot
Can anyone tell me why my Monty Is so leggy? He gets bright light by that window in the day time and shoots new leaves every week or so, but they are all solid. He shot a few variegated leaves when I first got him. Heâs about a year and a half old :)
I was gifted an aloe Vera plant. It looks so âheavyâ and sick. I havenât watered it much because it looked almost over watered. I fertilized it. Right now itâs on my covered porch and itâs been hot out. I plan to separate it. I have not have a aloe plant like this before, any advice
Hey. I have two questions-1. Is the grow light too close to it and 2. Why are some fronds turning brown? Please donât say it needs to go outside because thatâs not an option.
My fiddle leaf fig has a friend đ
The Zz at my office is about to shoot! Stay tuned!!
Anyone use watering spikes? For vacay? Just for plants that like to stay moist? Everything?
Leaving for Tampa tomorrow morning and I need to water my plants when away so do yall think I should just water before I leave or should I ask for someone to water them ?
What do you think this is? I feel foolish. I had a neon pothos and it died. I bought this one, the left photo is the currently alive one but the more I stare at it I think itâs actually a heart leaf lemon lime philodendron. Thoughts? For comparison, second photo is my old neon pothos that died.
Meet Romeo. My Cuban Oregano. 1 week difference after taking it home from the nursery. I didnât have a pic on the same day but he was really flat to the rim lol. The 1st pic is the 12 hr difference then today 6 days later. His leaves are the size of my palms. I love him đ
Is this arrowhead plant able to be saved? I rescued it from my friend and she had it in a spot with no sun and no grow lights, itâs soil was bone dry at the top and the bottom of the pot/cup was moist. TIA!!
my thanksgiving cactus has taught me something new. the three-sided pad is caused by fasciation, a random genetic mutation in some cactuses that causes three or four sided pads. it's not harmful or indicative of any care issues, they just do this sometimes. i'm curious if the following pads from this one maintain this shape? i've never seen this before but apparently the holiday cactuses (and dragonfruit?) do it fairly often
These moments make it worth it đ±đ
Iâm feeling that ITCH that leads to a visit to my favorite plant shop and inevitably to me bringing home a new friend!!!đȘŽđ„ŽâŠI just got 3 new plants a day and a half ago!!! (Doc, do I have a problem!?)đ€Șlol
I need your help guys!! I recently bought these pink syngoniums. They were doing well to begin with then noticed the bottom leaves dropping off within 2 weeks of buying them. I inspected the roots and nothing looks mushy/rotting but the base of the stem has these brown spots on them (the picture is them after drying out overnight). Are the stems rotting?? Can I save it at all? The leaves look healthy but idk what I can do to save itđ© please help if you have any experience with this
Iâm newish to the plant hobby but donât get much sun in my basement suite so bought the Barrina T5 grow lights to help my little guys out, Iâm worried that Iâve placed them in bad spots and was hoping some people would be able to kindly help me out :) thank you so much!! Some people have told me that the barrina lights I have arenât too strong so having plants that need partial sun are okay about 12 inches away from it⊠lmk if thatâs wrong please Thank you in advance!!â€ïž
Saw these amazing looking flowers in a neighborhood in Texas, and O couldnât recognize what they are. We donât see much flowers in Texas due extreme weather, anyone knows what they are, or has any experience with them?
