One of my alocasia corms actually gave me a leaf !!! When do you guys think i can move her in with all my other alocasias ? It is currently in a plastic cup in leca inside a sandwich bag for humidity.
All my plants got updates today. We’re pet sitting in the suburbs and my plants have been spending the days under the sun and in the breeze. The Callisia especially likes it. Her stems especially have purpled up! I hope that’s a good sign! It looks beautiful! I carry them in every night and check them for bugs. This is slug and spider country and I have a horror of carrying a nest of either into my house when I get home!
The app is saying to prune back 1/3 on my Gaura lindheimeri. I’m not sure if I should. It hasn’t had any blooms for about a week now and there aren’t any new shoots. What do I do?
So excited to see my Thai Constellation so happy! ☺️☀️🫶🏻 I replanted her into a next size up pot and she was slow to acclimatize! However she seems to be doing good, and I am hoping for a new leaf soon!!! 🤞🏼🌿💕
Does anyone use Rosy Soil? Is it worth the investment? Or am I getting sucked in from the marketing. 🤪 I’m willing to spend a little on good soil as it’s the foundation of healthy plants, inside and outside plants. If you have a recommendation for soil, do share!
In my plant lady era🪴
What type of Alocasia is this?
Anybody know what this guy is? Found him on clearance and the app is giving me weird suggestions.
I know this is not technically a plant, but these eggs are on my purple passion plant. I downloaded an app that says these are butterfly eggs but I’m not so sure. Can anyone help identify what bug these eggs are from?
I got this stunning pin striped calathea today. When I got her home I noticed some white-brown markings on a few of the leaves. Do they look like any type of pest created them, or is it just typical calathea fussiness? I have moved her away from my other plants (after I took the picture) until I’m sure.
What should I do to help this plant?
I recently got this fern and I’m new to the plant world. Does anyone know what she needs? Her soil is moist, I have humidifier in the house and she gets plenty of natural (not direct) sunlight.
First staghorn fern! How did I do? Any advice on how to water them once mounded? I rigged up this setup with a plant frame and L hook so I can easy take it off for watering and keep moisture away from the wall. She has a bit of her soil, spagnum moss, and some sheet moss to keep everything together. The moisture split the bottom of the wood but I kind of like it that way 😅🌿
I’m thinking about getting a monstera but don’t know which to get I’m looking for one that will do good outside but anything will work what are your recommendations? TIA😁
I was just gifted this white knight. What should i do with the long stem, i feel like i should cut it but it feels so wrong because she has two pretty leafs on the top and she’s growing a few new leaves at the base. TIA!
What’s going on with my panda plant? I only watered it once every two weeks but it’s growing weird roots outside of its soil. It’s facing south of my window, decent indirect light exposure.
This happened within like 2 days.. what’s wrong with my plant 😢
Today was the day I moved my rescue Split leaf from water (where it's been for last 2 months) to Aroid (coco coir, coco chips, bark, perlite, worm castings, horticultural charcoal, stratum, systemic granules, Mycorrhizal fungi and a layer of LECA on bottom & top) soil. I'm so emotionally attached to this plant I'm really nervous about this transition. According to the interwebs for the next few weeks I should keep soil damp to minimize the shock. Any other tips?
Planta family this rubber tree is growing beautifully, do i have to replant it already it I’m good, i swear i ask this once a month haha
