So I walk in the exam room at the doctorās office and I see this spider plant. I notice all the pups and rush over to it. I was going to ask my doc if I could have one or two. š¤ I got close and um, itās a fake!! I laughed so hard at my own disappointment! Iām not for fake plants but kudos to the creator for making it so legit that it has pups. š¤£

So, I just repotted these three. They were clippings in a porcelain pot that I believe was making it sick and only had one drainage hole. I do not over water her at all because I know these Swiss cheese ones donāt want a bunch. How do I help her from here?? Sheās in a 6in pot which idk if itās the right size but it has long roots. Thanks in advance!

Help me please! This is my syngonium. I just got it a few weeks ago and it seemed to be doing fine. The other day it was due for watering and after watering it wilted. Yesterday it was perking up again but this morning I found it like this. What should I do?? Should I remove that main piece and can I put it in water to root? It looks like it just broke off.

Since it's the Year of the Snake according to the Chinese calendar, we have been discussing which plant looks the most like a snake, and we have three finalists:
(A) Euphorbia caput-medusae
(B) Sansevieria trifasciata
(C) Kleinia stapeliiformis
Which one is the most snake-looking, A, B or C?

Basic question .... in the plant app it asks you to put in size of plant. I assume this relates to reporting and water amount etc but it doesn't say HOW to measure them. Height? Width?

Iāve seen recently that some people have crotons as indoor plants. Iāve only had them as outdoor plants here in Florida at my previous home.
I think they are so pretty and wondered if anyone here had them as indoor plants for a pop of color and, if so, any special care tips? Iām going to read up on them, of course, but wanted some real life opinions from those that have them indoors. TIA

Help!!! So I just recently got a Alocasia āSilver Dragonā and I noticed today she started drooping.š„² Just yesterday she was all perky and excited to be here and now she look like the second pic. When I did get her she did not have any critters or bugs in or on her. I do have cats and she was chewed on a little bit but not enough to kill her. I made sure she was put up higher so that she was out of reach for them. helppp please. š¢

Azalea question.
I have read online from various sources that state itās ānormalā for the flower blooms of azaleas to turn brown and then hold a green leave for a bit before recycling back to beautiful blooms. Other sources are saying Iām not watering enough, or my soil isnāt acidic enough, etc.
Whatās the truth on these? I have done everything recommended for this plant and if itās me, I donāt know what Iām doing or not doing to help this poor thing out. Or, is it just normal?

Hello everyone I am new here!
I am new to plants and I am trying my best to be a good plant mom!

I just got this from a friend and I'm not sure how I should plant it. I think I want to cut it up and make a couple plants. I'm pointing at the places where I think I can safely cut what do you think. Would the little end be able to strat a new plant? Thanks

App developersā¦. Can you put in an option of having plants in a terrarium. Or am I just missing it. I have two plants that the app thinks is having a problem because I havenāt watered in a while but both are doing better in a terrarium but they stay wet much longer.

Recently gifted this lil guy to my Dad, and could use some confirmation on if this is a Haworthiopsis fasciata or attenuata. Iām leaning toward attenuata, given the white on both sides of the leaves, but canāt find a variety of it under Plantaās options of attenuata it resembles the best. TIA for any help in identifying him!

Does anyone else mist terra cotta pots when they mist their plants? Doesnāt seem to do any harm, but I also donāt know if it does any good??

This bromeliad plant is in the original pot with no drainage. I thought it was dying and so I was going to give it to a friend that is better with plants then I am but then I noticed these little babies at the bottom. I would like to separate the 2 plants and put them in better pots but I'm not sure if I can now that there's babies. What do you all think and thanks for you help

Hi, Iām new at caring for indoor tropical plants. The plants I currently have require bright, indirect sunlight. Iāve placed the plants near windows. During the winter months we do not get a ton of sunlight. Iām wondering if using a plant light would be beneficial or if natural sunlight is enough for my plants.

I just came across a bit of information that I found interesting. A treatment for thrips: go over the leaves with a lint roller and then treat with neem. I found the lid roller and interesting tool for treatment.

I was checking my outside pots and found a weed in the soil of a big pot of syngoniums. I thought it was weed that looked like a portulaca. I yanked it and tossed it to realize itās a peanut plant. š„ Two peanut plants in the shell. I ripped off the leaves while pulling them out. Iām sure a squirrel planted it.

What is this? First pic is the front of the leaf, and the second pic is the back of the leaf. It almost looks like something crawled on it⦠š£!
TIA!
