I’m sure this isn’t Chinese Evergreen. I just don’t know what kind.
I got this snake plant about 1 year ago. There were two parts (like 2 separate plants) to it but one of them went mushy and disintegrated not long after I got it. The remaining plant survived though and has done well. A couple of months ago I got three little pups and they have grown massively. According to my schedule it should be repotted in March but I am wondering if I should do it early? The pot has gone misshaped and feels very dense and the pups are pushed right up against the edges. I have never kept a plant alive for a whole year and I have certainly never repotted anything so any advise is welcome - please explain like I am 5 years old 😂
Hi! I’m new here and I recently started my plant collection and wanted to share some of my babies! Any tips are helpful. 💚
3 of my plants that live on the main floor of my house I have realized are having some pest issues but I haven’t been able to find many at all to try to figure out wha kind of pest it is. So today I mixed water and hydrogen peroxide 3% and sprayed all over the plants top and bottom of leaves, stems, and surface of soil. Then I also wiped all the leaves with a paper towel and a few things had come off but still unable to figure out what pest. I then also added some cinnamon to the tops of the soils because I was worried about some fungus on the top. I did not get a picture of them but is there anything else I should try to free them from any bugs and how often should I come back to spray and wipe them?
just wanted to share these great moisture meter sticks i got for christmas! you stick them into the soil and they change color- when they turn white again, it's time to water! they're biodegradable and come in fun shapes too :)
My pink philodendron has not been doing well so I have this root ball from it, can I still save my plant? Do I place this in water or should I just plant it? Thanks everyone 🙏🏽❤️
Hi this is a what used to be healthy rubber plant and has gotten wrinkled and going slightly yellow I was wondering if anyone new a way to make it better
I ordered a little olive tree for hubby on 12/20. Here it is over a week later and the poor thing is still sitting in a cold truck. ☹️. It came from Florida and I'm in Massachusetts. I'll be surprised if it survives the trip. If it does, do I bring it right in the house or should I slowly change temperature by leaving it in the garage a day or two? I know I should have probably waited for better weather but it was Christmas. 🤦🏼
This is my first Arrowhead Plant. It has these vines that have started to grow out of the pot. Are these normal and are they okay to prune?
Walmart and Lowe’s have been putting in WORK. Obsessed with these finds. Hoping for even cooler in the spring!
Update: Chop and Prop is a success! My money tree is too leggy and I’ve accepted I need to prune her- even though I’ve been terrified. Can someone tell me where to chop her? I’ve tried and had success with regular money trees, but I’m afraid of anything happening to her 😅
I’m about to have my money tree for almost a year he’s been growing so much I’ve never been so happy! Starting late November he lost almost all of his leaves. I’m not sure why I’ve never changed his water schedule and make sure he has plenty of sun everyday. I recently had to check if I had any root rot but all healthy roots I gave him fresh new soil and that’s not working. Can anyone help me figure out how to fix this?
So I’m trying to fix up my front yard. I have a space in front my window that about 3’x12’ and I want a dessert landscape vibe. I don’t necessarily want to plant on the ground, I prefer in pots/planters. Any design ideas or plants you like that would be ideal. Zone 9.
How long should I leave my plant in water when bottom watering?
I guess I can safely assume that this pot is too big to repot this plant.🤔 Also, it was suggested that I wait til the spring to repot it despite the fact that the roots are coming thru the bottom holes. Is that correct? 🤔
Do these orchid flowers look like they are dying naturally or is it an issue?
Calling all fiddle leaf fig lovers! I’ll leave more pictures in the comments for reference but I fear my girl is growing too fast for me… about a week ago she had 3 small new leaves and now they’re enormous. She’s thriving and I’m scared that she’s going to overthrow her space here soon…. I know they say they don’t like to be moved but once she starts getting too tall should I cut and prop her or can I move her? I know most people can’t get these guys to grow so I’m really trying to keep her alive! Thanks!!!
So I had to chop my Philodendron Pink Princess (Poopy Princess), she was not doing very well 😢. Not too sad about it because she is a pink princess and a princess she is. She is now sitting her poopy self in water wile her peppery aroma when I cut her still lines my nostrils. I then imagine a time when these plants where going for over $500. Then I think to myself, I would be HELLA peeved off if I had to CHOP my special girl. However here we are, the monarchs head being chopped the revolution has been started. Lmao
My plants with there new grow lights and advice on how to angle or set up ect
