Any advice for a newbie plant owner of a palm plant. Had the palm plant for about 7 months. Went away for 2 weeks moved the plant to my back sliding door area less sunlight and had family water it once. When I came back 2 stalks were dried out. Moved it back to original spot seen below. Season has changed outside so much colder, but temp indoors has remained constant. Leaves on remaining stalks are continuing to dry out. Only have 3 stalks left. Any advice on saving this plant? I follow the water schedule on the app.

Any idea what’s wrong with my girl? She was fine when I left the office Wednesday. I came back Monday after Thanksgiving and she’s drooping 😭 she’s been in the same spot at my office since August. With the weather changing, does she need more sunlight? Help!

My flaming Katy is dropping a lot of leaves all of a sudden (a few a day) after growing a lot this summer. I repotted her within the last month because she was getting to big for your old pot. Is just because winter is coming or the shock of being repotted?

Getting into the plant game, so I want to Redo my front “garden area”. It was looking real bad like the pic of the tree was with weeds and it’s been almost 8 years I haven’t messed with this area. So I’m starting with a clean slate right now after I cleaned it up and took off the fabric.
I am in central Florida and weather is amazing to get some yard work going. I’m thinking of planting some baby pony tail palm and aloe veras. Any ideas for this area lmk, thanks!

Does anyone have any guidance on moisture meter best practices?
I often have pots that are dry on top and down the sides, but when I test near the rootball it shows "wet". I'm perpetually worried about root rot so usually wait until the moisture meter reads dry (or very close to) in multiple places in the pot. I usually end up having to snooze Planta watering reminders multiple times.
Most of my plants are doing well, but a couple are showing signs that they might like a little more water (crispy tips) and I'm wondering if I should be using the moisture meter differently?
FWIW, most of my soils are potting mix with extra drainage. They all have drainage holes and the majority are terracotta. I would say a couple are probably a bit too big for the plant which is obviously not great for holding that extra moisture.

Hey everyone. I had left my plants overnight in my car in very cold conditions. I went through a lot and was too depressed to bring them in. Be honest is there and salvage. I have: Hoya krimson queen, spider plant, golden pothos, marble queen pothos, snake plants, wandering dude, baby tears, money tree and more. All leaves are brown, and super soft as well as stems. Would I have to throw everything away?

Planta can’t identify this. I think it’s a begonia, but I’m not sure.

Ended up topping it off and making a clone.
