Ya'll I think my parents and boyfriend is getting tired of all my plants... I am 15 and I take care of a total of 39 plants (I need another one to make it even lol) and none of my parents nor boyfriend are plant people. I'll go on a plant rant and they don't understand what I'm talking about.... or I'll show them a plant I find cute and they don't understand lol... I hope they understand that my plant collection is only getting bigger... especially since all my plants propagate and I love to prop my little baby's lol

So I have a watering question.
I use a moisture meter to gauge the soil. A lot of the watering instructions say that when the first two inches on top are dry.
So if the top is dry but the meter reads wet at the bottom of the pot is it ok to water? This wonât lead to root rot? Thanks everyone

So, Iâve always liked plants, but never this much. Iâve always had a succulent or something on my desk and that was kind of where it ended. That was until a friend gave me a baby mung bean plant and it sort of spiraled from there. I now also have an orchid, 2 nerve plants (a regular and a white tiger), 2 peperomias (a schumi red and a San Marino), a rattlesnake Calathea, and I think 5-7 succulents or something like that.
Iâm planning on making all of them ceramic pots (with drainage wholes), and Iâll make sure theyâre a little bigger than what theyâre in right now. Iâm also a photographer so Iâll probably use them as a subject in some of my shots once their pots are done.
I know some of these plants are sort of dramatic, but after the hours of research Iâve done I think Iâm pretty confident in keeping them alive lol, but I need all the advice I can get. If anyone knows anything about these plants just let me know đ Thanks!!!

Hey guys ! How would you protect each of these plants for winter ? Arbor-vitae on the left and Boxwood buis green on the right. I brought them inside temporarily, but I can't keep them where they are and need to put them back outside.

I have put some herbs in a pallet. The herbs are mint, rosemary, thyme, parsley and lavender. Itâs becoming autum and the plants are quite small, will they survive the winter?

Has anyone figured out a way to override the warnings? App is telling me some of my plants are in too sunny of places, but I know theyâre happy where they are. The warning message just bugs me.

Anybody know why this rubber plant is heavily growing from one branch but not the other? Itâs from the same root system but one half has been lacking for the past 6 months.

My asparagus fern has a tonne of roots growing out the bottom of the pot, but will repotting in October kill it? Should I wait until the spring? I have a couple of plants that are also starting to root out the bottom, but not as bad. Thoughts on repotting in fall? Thanks!
