So this is Caz. He’s my office spider plant. My first ever plant really. He was originally sitting on a shelf by my desk which has no light other than the generic fluorescent office lights. He was very droopy and had lots of dead leaves at the bottom. I moved him to the window (south facing) on Friday last week. He seems much happier there but still lots of dead leaves. I water him about twice a week. Anyone have any suggestions for my little dude? I want to be a plant mom but I am pretty hopeless lol. I don’t want to fail little Caz.

I’m watering plenty and trying to regulate humidity for it.
my question is are those brown tips a sign of low humidity ?

Where do people stand on taking houseplants outside in the summer? I have a few that I do that with and they absolutely thrive. It’s almost like they hold on in the fall and winter just to go outside again. But is it too much change? My husband also thinks they bring in bugs but I don’t think there’s any evidence of that. Thoughts?

Should I be concerned about the shape of my fiddly fig? It’s like folded up at the top. Might it be too close to the grow light? It is growing new leaves up top but has lost a leaf at the bottom and another is not looking super good. Also contemplating repotting???
Any advice is appreciated!

Could a spider plant and a prayer plant live together in the same pot

Can anyone tell me why my Monty Is so leggy? He gets bright light by that window in the day time and shoots new leaves every week or so, but they are all solid. He shot a few variegated leaves when I first got him. He’s about a year and a half old :)

I was gifted an aloe Vera plant. It looks so “heavy” and sick. I haven’t watered it much because it looked almost over watered. I fertilized it. Right now it’s on my covered porch and it’s been hot out. I plan to separate it. I have not have a aloe plant like this before, any advice

Hey. I have two questions-1. Is the grow light too close to it and 2. Why are some fronds turning brown?
Please don’t say it needs to go outside because that’s not an option.

What do you think this is?
I feel foolish. I had a neon pothos and it died. I bought this one, the left photo is the currently alive one but the more I stare at it I think it’s actually a heart leaf lemon lime philodendron. Thoughts?
For comparison, second photo is my old neon pothos that died.

Meet Romeo. My Cuban Oregano. 1 week difference after taking it home from the nursery. I didn’t have a pic on the same day but he was really flat to the rim lol. The 1st pic is the 12 hr difference then today 6 days later. His leaves are the size of my palms. I love him 💚

Is this arrowhead plant able to be saved? I rescued it from my friend and she had it in a spot with no sun and no grow lights, it’s soil was bone dry at the top and the bottom of the pot/cup was moist. TIA!!

my thanksgiving cactus has taught me something new. the three-sided pad is caused by fasciation, a random genetic mutation in some cactuses that causes three or four sided pads. it's not harmful or indicative of any care issues, they just do this sometimes. i'm curious if the following pads from this one maintain this shape? i've never seen this before but apparently the holiday cactuses (and dragonfruit?) do it fairly often
