Any suggestions for glow lights that would help cover all the babies in this area? I don’t want tons of little lights and I’ve been searching for the best option for a more aesthetic look.

I'm allowing myself to buy another plant for my birthday. Any hanging plants recs? Ones with droopy vines and are semi-easy to take care of? Thanks!

So I had to have minor surgery in Juneand I was given a bouquet of flowers with this branch in it. Everything died except the branch so I put it in a smaller vase and left it. About 2 weeks ago I noticed little bumps on the leaves and thought they looked like they could be flowers popping out but today I saw they are new leaves. Does anyone know what it is and can I cut off the leaves and plants them? Will they root. I'm very excited to see what happens. Thanks for any help

What is wrong with this Anthurium? I bought it in water and it is still there 6 or so months later. The leave with rust looking spots is the newest leaf

My white bird of paradise has more new growth, I was expecting that it might slow down growth in the fall but seems to still want to keep adding new leaves! Let me see your WBP

Thoughts about using Mycorizzal Fungi to help previously root rotted plants spring back. The only concern I have is that a whole lot of sites say that you can’t use Miracle-Gro due to it having a high salt content. I would buy some organic fertilizer and use that, but all the garden centers are sold out. My question is would it be ok to use Mycorizzal Fungi even if I have to add more every time I fertilize? It’s currently winter now so fertilizing doesn’t happen too often.

This is newer nerve plant, and I have noticed that there have been blooms as in the picture but every time they fall before they fully open and I am wondering if this is normal or I am doing something wrong. Helpful tips are very much appreciated!!!

In your experience, are there any plant types that should never be pruned or propagated in winter? I’m still in my first year as a serious plant parent and trying to tamp down my excitement to DO DO DO. I’ve been diligent about checking leaves and stems, pretty sure there’s been no significant leaf drop, and carefully tried to water less than I’m tempted to. Any advice for the resting season?

Look at how happy and healthy my alocasia is (: I have her in between the sliding glass door and a grow light and she seems to be thriving! The only problem are the fungus gnats. they won’t leave her alone. i sprayed with need oil, added sticky traps, and sprinkled systemic granules on the soil. it seems to help but they are pretty persistent. happy growing!

Hey y'all! My alocascia has dropped two leaves since I last watered it a week ago :( the stem seems so have gotten mushy and just completely given way for some reason. Any suggestions on how to protect the last three remaining leaves?

I am just starting out looking after plants, so this is going to be a very very basic question…… When it tells you to water your plant, (1) do I water from the top or fill the saucer and (2) how do I know what is “enough” water? Thanks!

Can someone tell me what this plant is called please?

Hey guys this is my plant set up! I live in Olympia, Washington where it rains most of the winter months. I’m curious, those of you who live in humid climates, do you still buy a humidifier? I’m curious if I should invest in one? TIA

Is there a way to reset your watering schedule on this app? I stopped using it for a while but want to start again except the app thinks I haven’t watered any of my plants for months 🫣
