When I asked if I should do anything about this begonia when 2/3 of it died, including all of the bottom leaves on this one part of the plant that survived. You guys said basically leave it alone and it will be OK eventually or wait till it gets bigger and pinch off the top for a second plant. And look what happened! There’s a new shoot coming up and a leaf is growing from lower down on the branch.

I need some suggestions. I have been nursing this zebra plant back to help. I had some root rot issues, I have trimmed the plant, cleaned up the roots, fresh potting soil. I finally have a little new growth but still have one leaf that is old and dying off. My question is: is the pot to big? Should I cut the stem and propagate? Trim the leaf?Or leave it for longer now that’s it seems to be doing better.

We need help. My daughter moved recently and her gorgeous aloe didn’t take the move well. It fell over and we need to help it recover. The main stem has tipped over and some stalks have broken. Any suggestions?

🌿🚨 HELP! I am soon relocating an entire JUNGLE! 😂🪴📦 Has anyone moved with OVER 100 PLANTS?! 😳 I started with around 300, sold off a bunch, and somehow I STILL have enough plants to qualify as my own botanical garden! 🌴🤣 Now comes the fun part… packing, moving, keeping everyone alive, AND updating my entire collection in the Planta app! 😩🌱 At this point, I think my plants need their own moving truck, a personal assistant, and possibly a therapist! 😂🚚 So, my fellow plant addicts… I NEED YOUR WISDOM! 🌿 How did you survive moving your jungle? Any packing hacks, moving tips, or shortcuts for updating your Planta collection without losing your sanity? 🌱 Send help, tips, coffee… or bubble wrap! 🤣☕ — 💚

Hey guys, I have a question about my Alocasia ‘Jacklyn.’ I live in Germany, and it's getting colder and colder here. I've noticed that the leaves on my plant are starting to droop and fade a little. I've read that it often does this in the winter. Is that true, and what can I do to make sure I still have it next year?

It’s 9pm and I think I started a project that should have waited till tomorrow. I have a Triostar in semi hydro that is extremely root bound. I knew it was bad but did not expect this to be so difficult. I ended up with 15 divisions. I’m going to put some back into semi hydro but most I’m transitioning into soil so that I can sell or give away. I’m going to use plastic pots. Already did the research. Soil will have about 50% leca for the transition. It’s a new plant project for me. Hopefully I don’t lose to many.

I need help! All of a sudden my calathea look like this. Dr Planta says she’s thirsty but I watered her and nothing. Her light hasn’t changed and I’ve had her for almost a year. Any advice?

I feel really vulnerable when people see my plants and say unwarranted things like “you’re using the wrong soil,” or “you shouldn’t do that to your plants,” “your plants don’t look that great.” Listen, Linda, most of my life my mental health was so bad that it was a wonder I kept myself alive. The past year of my life i have finally achieved being more stable; the fact that I’m able to keep several plants alive is something I’m proud of. I’m no plant guru, but I have found a hobby that makes me happy and I’m learning!
