Does anyone know why this is happening? 😭😭
I repotted a Rex begonia & it is really REALLY wilty going on 2 days now. Will it bounce back? Is this a dramatic plant like fittonias? Does anyone have any tips with this plant? I can’t find hardly any specific info on its characteristics. It was so pretty before paranoid me thought it could’ve been suffering from overwatering/rot.
Help! I was looking at my monstera propagation and I noticed a cloudy like substance near the end. I change the water weekly. But I don’t want it to be mold or something that will harm it. What is it? And should I remove it? Any other tips appreciated! Thank you!! 😊
How do I care for basil? She was up and perky at the store but now she’s droopy 😩
How do I care for Romain lettuce? Can I put this in soil and keep growing it forever? Or how does this work
My decrepit prayer plant put out a huge pretty new leaf; I'm so proud of her
Do any of you make your own African violet soil mix? I have a ton of amendments for my aroids, but I only have one tiny violet, so I don’t really want to buy a whole bag of specialty soil. I have a some fine peat that I decided ages ago I hated as a mix-in lol, but the violets might actually like it! I also have perlite, sphagnum, worm castings, and all that jazz Gotchya day pic for tax 😉 I recently learned that variegated African violets actually go all green during the hot months. Who knew?? So even though mine has become green and plain looking since this pic was taken, it should go pink and white again in the fall 🤗
Attention Amaryllis Bulb People! Ok. It is mid August. Last year I let my Amaryllis bulbs remain outdoors until end of October due to the nice weather. Needless to say I had Easter Blooms and not Christmas Blooms. Pictured here are my three bulbs with their massive green plumage. The past 4 weeks the bulbs themselves have seemed to even begun to store all that energy as they are harder to the touch. Should I: A) Let them stay outside and have Easter Blooms in 2025 B) Put them in the basement to die back for Holiday 2024 p.s. I can’t believe that Basil plant is still kicking too.
So I’m going off to college in less than two weeks, but I’m trying to pack all five of my plants to travel to my dorm. It’s about a three hour drive, and I’m worried about how to properly store them in order for them to stay in a healthy condition. I can easily carry my Haworthia in my lap, but my the other four are quite flimsy. How would I go about properly storing and transporting them?
I was just curious if you all prefer to make your own potting mix or buy? I am running into issues with aeration in my soil, which leads to my soils not drying out properly and all the issues that come along with it. The room I have the majority of my plants in is fairly high in humidity (south side sunroom). I have been using a store bought potting mix for most of my plants but I just don’t feel there is enough aeration in it. Any suggestions of potting mix you all use? I didn’t know if I could add pumice stones to the soil of all my plants or not? Thanks for any advice you have, I’m a fairly new plant mom! :)
My passion flower just finally bloomed today 😄😄😄
Hi! I have a question about the app itself lol. I had three prickly pear babies propagating. They grew enough to be planted, so I combined them. Is there a way to combine three plants into one plant in the app without loosing the plant progress??
Major upgrade to my plant game! Ordered a label maker and these cute stakes so I could have each of their names right there! Im in love! Lmk what you think!
Wanted to share my photos from Ott’s Exotic Plants in Schwenksvile, PA. It’s so beautiful in there and I highly recommend anyone visiting or living in SE PA to visit it.
Two new plant babies from Home Depot! Less than $20 for both of them! If you have any tips for either I’d appreciate it 😊
Is there something wrong with my plant or is this normal? Any tips appreciated! Thank you!! 😊
I need some help from the plant experts! I have had this plant for a while now and it has grown quite a bit. It is now root bounds and I feel it’s time to re pot. But I’ve heard these plants need a post to climb up. Is that true? If so what kind of post do you recommend? And other tips appreciated! Thank you!! 😊 🪴
