Hey plant friends!
So i have two air plants (they are the same species just one is younger) and i just figured out how youâre actually supposed to water them which is out of their pot and submerged in water! Anyway, i digress; i just pulled them both out of their pots and found out they have no roots!!!!??? Iâm super confused! They seem healthy and have grown since i picked them up from the grocery store last month. Just so odd to see a plant with no roots lol
Anybody have any input on this?

Hi guys, I need help!
The leaves are dropping at a really fast rate and the stems are turning black. I know this looks like a case of overwatering but the soil is bone dry. Does anybody know what could be causing this and how to make my happy beans happy again?
Thanks everyone.

How important is humidity?
Do any of you guys have high humidity preference plants in low humidity homes? All of my favourite cat safe plants prefer high humidity but my home doesnât really meet this requirement! Iâm not willing to fork out on a humidifier as I donât have the money for a decent one and I worry about it causing mould in my home..
I know they probably wonât âthriveâ in low humidity environments but will they stay alive at least if I meet all of their other care needs?

Just realizing I think I have a dramatic plant cause itâs only been 4 days since I last watered her and she looks like this now when yesterday I swear she looked just fine
Bright side, at least I know when itâs time to water her just based on how sad she looks

Does anybody know what type of plant this is I just picked it up from the nursery because I loved how unique it is but now I canât figure out what it is and how to care for it and also it look like it may be
a little sick or eaten by a bug or something

I just bought a bunch of pots and potting soil for plants that are still in the plastic nursery containers. Itâs unseasonably hot in PA today. Spent time outside repotting my plants and getting dirty. It was good for my soul. Hubby says my hobby is getting out of control and I reminded him that he golfed today.

Hi there! Iâve got a question about digging up garden plants.
So this is a snowberry plant offshoot that my mom and I dug up from my grandmotherâs garden - she passed recently and the house is being sold, but we are very fond of her snowberry bushes and wanted to have some. I know itâs quite late in the season to have done this (Iâm in Ontario, Canada) but Iâm looking for advice on how I can make it last through the winter? Itâs as tall as the snowblower in the image, for reference. Iâve got some other smaller ones too.

Hey, guys!
Since moving my lemon tree inside, itâs lost over half its leafs. First picture is from October 8th and the second picture is from today, October 28th. Any advice?
At first I was over watering and I have cut back and am feeling the soil to determine if it needs watered. I also was originally doing a 12 hour light cycle, but have changed to 8 hour.
Any advice is appreciated!! Thank you, all!

Steve at the garden centre was very keen that I rescue this Philodendron Painted Lady, so he sold it to me for ÂŁ5 đ It doesnât even look that unhealthy, just needs a bit of a repot and trim, I think.

I went to trim up my string of hearts and saw this! I didnât even know they bloomed!

Also need help identifying this plant as well! Thank you!

Anyone able to help me identify what this plant is? I believe it might start with a âJâ as I typically name my plants after their plant name and I named her Jacquelyn when I got her a while back. Thanks for any help!

I posted a week or so ago that I was trying out plant food for the first time. My poor Inch Plant did NOT like it. The other plants didnât seem to mind. This Inch Plant went limp and there were a lot of leaves turning brown. My current plan is to starve it until itâs fairly dry and then water it. All is not lost as there are still some good stems.

Hello everyone! I found a little mushroom growing in the pot with my spider plant. Is this normal? Bad? Good? I bought the soil at Loweâs. Iâm new to the house plant world. Thanks!

Hi I just have a quick question. Iâm new to caring for plants and I have 9 plants that I have to water and take care of. The planta app has the watering times all over the place, which I do expect for two of the plants as they are more like houseplants rather than succulents/cacti. I just wanted to know if there is a good way to sync the days of watering? Like some of them have about the same watering frequency, but need to be watered on different days. I want to have like a certain day every two weeks so that I will be able to remember and be consistent with caring for my plants. Would it be ok for me to either water some early or water some late?

Does anyone have a fishtail or a monarch fern? If you do, does it look anything like this plant? I am still trying to identify this, and thatâs the only thing that comes up. It didnât seem like a fern though. I bought it off a grocery store clearance for $.99, and so far itâs a mystery plant. It seems to be doing OK but I noticed the leaves are getting a little bit crunchy and I have it very close to my humidifier. So maybe it is a fern? đ€·ââïž

Wondering if anyone can help- Iâm looking to buy orchid bark in bulk (residing in Wales, UK), but canât find any over 10litres for ÂŁ10. Iâve tried going to almost all the garden centres near me, is the 10litre bag as big as itâs gonna get? is there any online stores that sell bulk for a good price? Thank you đ«¶

Please help, my mint plant is not doing well đą
So, her leaves have begun turning slightly red, and they started dropping slightly and becoming less supple.
I read it may be due to an excess of minerals from hard water and that flushing your plant every 4th water is beneficial.
Since then her soil is very wet and I watered her 3 days ago, the regular salt buildup is still occurring outside the terra-cotta pot (except now I suspect it may be mould)
Some leaves are also developing small black spots.
It is becoming colder outside so that may be the issue?
Please help me save her sheâs very important to me đą
