A few months ago we went on holiday, and when we got back my maidenhair fern had died. I chopped all the leaves off and it grew back into a baby! 🥹 but now it’s starting to get yellow bits and some edges are not looking too good. Anyone know how to make her thrive? Thank youuu

i got this new silver dragon today at lowes and shes about to flower! i know youre not supposed to repot in winter but i do NOT trust the soil that costa farms pots their plants in so i went ahead and repotted her - she had beautiful, long, healthy roots. i watered her as well. shes a present for my mom, and now im worried i might have caused her too much stress because of everything i did today. do you guys think she will be okay? im such an overthinker.

Hey all, what’s everyone’s experience with Superthrive?
It seems to make anything I put it on (that isn’t soil) mildew/mold, such as a moss ball, or just a monstera living in water.

I lost my job about a month ago and brought this gal home. She had almost no growth while I was at that job, despite having some of the best light she’s ever seen. I believe in signs and a money plant not thriving in my workplace told me it was toxic. 😷she’s happy to be home and thriving 🥹

I have a croton plant that has cracks like these in a couple of its leaves. They were there since I’ve gotten it. Is there any way for them to heal on the leaves, and do they have a health risk to the plant?
Thanks!

I have my spider plants in bright indirect light and they are still not surviving. I water them whenever they get dry and still no luck. What am I doing wrong?
Other question

Hello! New to this app and forum and just got this new satin pothos from a garden centre, just have a couple questions:
what age do you think this plant is?
should I aim to water it straight away? the soil is sort of dry but I wouldn’t say completely and have no way of knowing when it was last watered so don’t want to overwater it straight away
Thanks:) x
edit: I now know it’s a N’Joy Pothos! x

Does anyone know what these orangish brown leaf tips are? They aren’t crispy or anything, they feel like the rest of the leaf.
The rest of the plant looks ok

Grow Light Usage
Winter time is approaching, and I'm already at the point where sunlight is very limited. I have a grow light and I'm fairly new to this.
Question is, how long should I have the Grow Light on over my plants per day?
Thanks in advance

Hi! I just started using this app and really like it so far, but when I added my Shamrock it told me to prepare it for winter dormancy. I t thought shamrocks were dormant in the hot summer months, not winter. Which is correct? Thanks!

Hi plant peeps! 💚
I was wondering if anyone had any idea what this plant is? I propagated it from a random leaf so it isn’t fully grown but it’s dark green with pinkish tips and almost a waxy texture. Plz lmk your thoughts! Thanks so much!! 🤍

Have I cold shocked my new plant? I bought this guy about a week ago and he was in the car in ~50 degree weather for a few hours. Since then, he’s lost about half of his leaves- they’re just falling off with the stems attached. Looks like the leaf stems are rotting, although I’ve inspected the whole plant, including the roots, and I’ve seen no pests or rot anywhere. Help!
Edit: I have transferred him into water. Hopefully he will do ok.
