my Yucca gigantea leaves keep browning, drying up and dying. I've kept to it's watering, feeding and sunlight schedule also changed them up a little bit to see if any will help but it keeps happening. it's still growing new leaves. does anyone know what's happening or if there's anything I can do to help it?
I feel like there may be some of you on here that get me on this! Thripedemic over here has me quite bummed! And I do soo many of the preventative pest things too… 🪴 So sad, truly! Thrips have caused the loss of many of my plants. A dear, expanding hobby of mine I’ve been spending years on. Building my collection, curating it and placing them all in my home in juuusst the right places… Much effort and tender care… sigh 😔 Picture is just of one of the ailing pothos I’m trying to save. Not possible with many others though

Alrighty, do we buy it? Just saw in my area variegated Alocasia Frydeks going for $17. Worth the cost and possible struggle of growing one? Mostly considering this as a plant to propagate and sell in shop

Hey y’all! , my newest baby is a Fern Leaf Cactus 😍 His name is Finn. He didn’t arrive in the best shape, but with some TLC, he is thriving now! i love him so much!
I watch various YouTubers and in one video it talked about collecting plants vs growing a thriving plant. I am working toward getting my plants to be the best they can be and try and limit buying new ones for a bit. Now I am convinced they all have something wrong! Any words of wisdom? Trying to not be down on myself that I thought I was a decent plant mommy and have been downgraded to a fair mommy at best.
*HELP* My monstera is in a HUGE pot, I’ve bought a 50cm pot for when she outgrows this one which is SOON. I think I’m going to need to saw off the bottom of the roots so that I can avoid having to try to find an even LARGER pot. I’m so scared though she’s my baby and I’m so worried that chopping off the roots will hurt her or even worse kill her. Does anybody have experience with doing root cuts to avoid upsizing? I’ve seen loads of people do it online but I’m so so anxious about it. Any advice or reassurance would be appreciated 🙏✨

I want to get a shelf for my plants at some point and I want to get a climbing plant that I can train to wrap around the shelf. Would pothos be a good plant to let the leaves trail down or let them climb up? What are some other plants that can do the same? I have an east facing sliding door so I get bright direct light in the morning and bright indirect during the rest of the day. However I do live in a rainy cloudy state most of the winter time.
I have three plants, a variegated umbrella tree, a moth orchid, and a rattlesnake plant, can anyone give me advice on how often i should fertilize?
The sticky yellow gnat traps work SO well but they are also so frustrating. Sometimes I bump it and it sends soil flying. I feel like I always have one stuck to my arm or butt. Today I got one stuck in my hair and it pulled out quite a few strands lol. Last week we had to cut one out of my dog’s tail!
