Does anyone have any knowledge on hibiscus plants? I have six. My first year with them. This one is my biggest flower so far. I live in Indiana so I know I have to bring them in for the winter. However, I’ve been told I can bring them in and let them hibernate the winter and bring them back out when the frost has passed for the season and they will come back. Does anyone know if this is true or not? Any help is appreciated. I have only $60 in them. But, I’d like to keep them alive, I got them to add to my flower beds which also is my turtles outdoor enclosure.

So I’ve had this beautiful baby for a few years now and she seems to be having issues. Can anyone help or explain what’s going on with it? Any help is very much appreciated.

Recently purchased this beautiful Vanda Orchid. Unfortunately I am not very good at keep orchids despite reading lots about caring for them. Since bringing this home, it has already lost a new shoot that was growing and I am not sure what I am doing wrong. I water this by placing roots in water for 20 mins to half an hour twice weekly and then once a month add orchid fertiliser.

My sundew is flowering!!! I knew my ping would, but this was such a surprise! They have both male and female flowers and can sometimes self-pollinate, so I might even get viable seeds!!

2 more Hoyas brought in. I’m not sure about the location, but for now this will work.

Hello! I'm looking for recommendations for some outdoor overwintering plants. A friend has given me a whole bunch of tulip bulbs and I want to try one of those layered planters and am thinking of some sort of winter cover crop both to insulate and avoid excessive compaction, as well as visual interest.
Some about our garden:
-We're in Zone 7b in Northern VA
-We do just about everything plant type wise (herbs, flowering, foliage, succulents, and a brief foray into hot peppers). Most of our plants come indoors in the winter so we'd be looking for something that could stay outside.
-Currently, our only genuine winter plant is a Penny's Pink hellebores.
Thank you!

Advice needed for this leggy succulent I have received from a friend!
What is it?
Should I pin the stems into soil or should I cut and propagate?

Why has my Tradescantia zebrina lost its silver 😢
I’ve just cut her back a bit and propagating the cuttings so I can hopefully put them in there once they’ve rooted. So sad she’s lost her shine.

Mmm.. I wonder if I’m the only one tempted to stole small cuts from all the plants I like, so I can propagate.. 😅😂😂😂

hi, i have this rubber plant that has a gap of leaves in the middle
can i cut where i've marked the line and will the bottom part grow as normal again?
and then could i put the top part in water to propagate into a new plant?
new leaves to produce but the top of the plant hasn't looked overly healthy for a few leaves now so thinking about cutting that top part off to help healthier growth if this would work?
