I just purchased an Alocasia Camouflage from my local nursery. I was unsure if I need to pot it in chunky soil mix like I do for my aroids- or if I should place it in leca. I have no experience with Alocasia since it’s my first. Any help is appreciated!

My peace lily tends to droop quite a bit. I just watered it and it seems to be coming back up. The app says water every six days, I’m finding out that it needs it about every four days or so. Soil gets dry pretty quick. I am in Arizona so it’s already pretty dry here.

I bought this pink princess yesterday and the pot she came in was a little rough. So I placed her in this setup. I was wondering if this was conducive to a healthy life for her?

Hello fellow plant friends:) I am wanting to add a String of Pearls plant to my collection. Please let me know of any advice, tips, and tricks you have for me.
My biggest questions are:
What is the best soil set up ?
What is the best way to fertilize ?
How much light should they get ?
What type of pot should I use ?

Hi! This is Birdie, a birds nest fern that I’ve had for about 6 months. I’ve stopped overwatering her and given her more light and I think she is adjusting well, but has these brown spots on the leaves. I am wondering if I should leave them or trim them off? Thank you for any advice!

I have a general question to ask. I live in Ontario, Canada. Right now we're in the winter months and since it's very cold the heat is running nonstop. And because of that the house has become very dry. We have a humidifier on our furnace and 2 humidifiers on the main level. I have a hygrometer in every room (plants in every room). The readings show normal humidity and approximately 70-75° Fahrenheit. My question is that my plants are really dry, sticking my fingers down at least 3" still dry. I have been watering a lot more, the water soaks right in. But am I over watering them? I'm not sure as I've never had this problem before. I also have picked up the pots and they don't seem heavier. I would appreciate any advice you can give me on watering, not watering, standing on my head. Lol

Can someone tell me what this is? The label is generic. I saw a larger one at the store that had the name, I should have noted it but I didn’t. I think it started with an S?

Hi! I have never been good at gardening but finally have my own yard and want to make it look pretty with flowers! Today I got 3 potted plants. Fuschia, Bloody-Cane Geranium, & a singular Petunia.
I was wondering if anyone has any fertilizer suggestions? 2 are in hanging baskets!
Also wondering if I’m able to repot the petunia (if anyone recommends it) Would normal soil from Home Depot or Lowe’s work?
& any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated!! We live in Central Florida for climate purposes. Here are my new plants!

A friend gave me this cylinder snake Plant to divide. She just wants one and she want to give one to another friend and I get the rest but I'm not sure if that would be good for the plant. Any advice and what size pots should I use if I do divide it. Thanks for any help

I’ve had this BOP for a week now. Is it looking healthy to you guys? I’m afraid I might have over-watered it. I watered it when I got it last Saturday and I watered it today. Wondering if I should have waited longer for the second watering…

I had to repot from a 4” to a 6” cause it was to root bond. More roots than soil. I hope i did it right. Any advice?

Does anyone know what type of soil this is?

The internet says I can spray neem oil on a peace lily to keep away stink bugs and it won’t harm the plant. Anyone tried this and was it safe for your peace lily?

Hello to all, I have a Elephant Ear that's a good 4 feet tall. For the past couple of years the petioles will bend towards the floor at the stalks. This happens on a very consistent basis. The petioles & leaf will eventually die off. What would cause this? My guess would be the plant is so tall with long petioles with large leaves, the plant isn't able to sustain the weight. I don't recall this happening when the plant was smaller. Any ideas. THANKS.

Not sure about where to place grow lights or what intensity. I have an arrowhead plant and a nerve plant that have the same set up. The leaves aren’t thriving. My arrowhead has been through it. It’s been attacked by my cats (cats are okay). The nerve plant has been nibbled on. I repotted them a couple months ago. I just want them to recover and thrive.
Any help would be appreciated.

New Addition, plan on changing pot but also love this one. Does it need to be changed? Any tips on how to care for? New plant dad 😅
