Hi! So spider plants are super easy to take care up! If you have a Wooden toothpick I would try to use that to test when to water! (Stick it in and if dirt comes out on it, it needs some watering if not ur good!) but I hope it had developed secondary roots before you potted it, if not keep a close eye!

Thanks for the advice! Im going to put a plastic bag over it so itll have some sort of humidity so the roots can still grow as is and help it get used to the soil. Ive had it sitting in water for a while so everything should be good then!

The plant looks very dry (folded leaves) and also needs fertilizer/more light (pale color, thin leaves). I recommend reducing the pot size if there is more than an inch of space around the roots. The pot looks too big compared to the size of the plant. It’s hard to tell from the photo. Spider plants like a snug pot. Thoroughly water and fertilize with 50% diluted liquid fertilizer every month in winter, twice a month in the growing season. Let the soil completely dry out (pot feels light). Then, water again. The roots are very thick and fleshy on spider plants. Be careful poking into the soil to prevent scarring the roots leaving it open to bacteria. Use a blunt tip tool like a metal chopstick to check for moisture. Provide bright indirect light or direct morning light. 🍀🪴

That pot size is real huge. So you may end up with watering issues, and the plant staying to wet. When you first transfer to soil from water you need to almost over water them, since they are used to almost 100% humidity

I had the same issue but after reading this post, I replanted it. Within few days, I saw a new leaf coming out! Thank you all!!!
