This one here is an automatic conversation starter! One of my favorites in my collection! š
Hello, I just received this plant for Mothers Day. The plant search says itās a Flamingo lily. They are beautiful description it came with says Peach Anthurium. Are they the same? Also the roots are coming out the pot of the pot! Is this right?
Hello everybody, I feel that Iāve been posting too often. So Iām going to turn it back to you! Whatās your fave plant, what plants do you have and anything else! Iām so excited to see what everyoneās got! š„°
So when do you all decide that itās over for your plant and that you want to either throw it away or give it up to someone else? lol I thought Iād be a ākeep em foreverā type but not being able to get things right for some of them is actually turning into being a bother. I have an Anthurium whoās hated it here for almost as long as Iāve had it her, a Calathea that was absolutely fine until I fell off schedule, and a baby orchid that I fear isnāt going anywhere anytime soon! Oh and a MÄori Haze begonia that is over here playing game with my hear. lol all of them have prime grow light real estate and increasingly less Spark Joy.
My greenhouse
should I change mu soil if theres what looks like worms in there ? š„ø
This leaf fell off of my auntās plant so Iām using it so I can make another plan. Can you guys tell me if this is good so I know if itāll work or not (I think it might root because one time I took a tree seed and paper towel that was wet and then it rooted so I think this might work)

This is my plant Mabel. It is Romain lettuce. I only got it because we were growing in agriculture class and the weekend is coming up soon and thereās gonna be no one to water the plants so we got to take them home today.
Back with an update on Meiās mysterious branch. If anyone can tell me if this piece of my Nematanthus āShady Lady Maeā is simply another cultivar, or if something could cause a Mae to change flower colors so drastically, please let me know š The last photo is what a āShady Lady Maeās flowers typically look like, and what the rest of Meiās branches are blooming. She doesnāt have the red streak under the leaves like a āShady Lady Marleneā, and she doesnāt look like a Tropicana aside from the leaf color. Iām pretty stumped about this branch, but sheās a pretty pleasant surprise, so I donāt mind that she looks so different from the rest of my plant, just curious š
New leaves!! Growing straighter and far more silver!!
She's in the Sun until it rains! Sideritis Scardica is Intensely full sun due to growing on rocky mountains in the wild. Fortunately, that means she has built-in sunscreen which could fare her well with the high UVs here! Unfortunately, that also means I need to find an indoor location for her over the summer, because our scorching summer heat is far too hot for this type of plant! Though it's spring now so fingers crossed she actually continues to grow well where she is!
So got this text, wondering whatās going on with the plant itās flowering have had for years (30 about) and just flowered. Any ideas? Itās my grandmotherās
Happy National Plant a Flower Day! š» Today, we arenāt just planting for beauty - weāre planting for the future of our local ecosystems. Why go native? š» Native plants are the backbone of our environment. Theyāve evolved over thousands of years to provide the exact food and shelter your local bees, birds, and butterflies need to survive. By choosing a native species, youāre not just growing a flower; youāre restoring a piece of the wild. Plus, they are perfectly adapted to your climate, meaning they are naturally more resilient! THE CHALLENGE: We want to fill the comments with local inspiration. 1ļøā£ Look up flowers native to your area. 2ļøā£ Comment the name of the flower and where youāre located (City/State/Region). 3ļøā£ Letās get planting. Are you in? š

My outdoor ring feature is complete! Four are from a local nursery and in plastic pots. The rest are clipping from around the house directly in the terracotta pots.
Y'all think a root growing on the outside of the pot is a sign it's time to repot?.... š«£š
Look how silver and upright her new leaves are!!! I'm so happy she's starting to do better omg!!
